It's not like the situation in umineko actually works like in the schrodinger cat case. It is just a fitting comparison, there are many similarities but not a 1:1 correspondence.

In fact if we want to nitpick, in umineko you can use the "red truth" to know if the cat is dead or alive, but in the thought experiment there isn't such a thing as "the truth", you make one by observing. In other words in umineko you can't have a random result. there is only one truth, and a situation where lies and truths both coexist untill the braun tube is opened.

Well there are two possbile things that could happen here.

"The truth is a two edged sword" - God's Truth
"The truth is a three edged sword" - (Babylon 5)- your side, my side, and the truth.

While Umineko's styling would point to the two edge sword being most likely, the way of the colored truths could actually represent the three edge model. Also the idea that Anti-Fantasy vs. Anti-Mystery may not be the only two answers to this puzzle. There could be a third answer that is the Truth.

Crazy theory like this being a reverse of the in-universe Higurashi fanservice?

Where instead of Higurashi being Battler's favorate Manga (or Maria's favorate anime), Umineko is Rika, K1, Mion, Satoko, or Rena's favorate mystery novel series at some future time...in a world where at least one of them survived. It being Rika's would imply self insertion via Bern, though being K1's would have him be more involved reading about Battler.

Rena would just want to take Maria and the furnature home.
Mion might fangirl over Battler and Beatrice, or Kanon and Jessica (maybe Shannon and George)

I can't guess about Satoko...maybe looking for new traps.

So the people from the Umineko universe think Higurashi is a story and the people from the Higurashi universe think Umineko is a story. I love that theory. That way there is no true reality since you have to choice which universe is the real one.

Looks like we'll get an impressive magic fight for this episode. I do hope they end the episode when Eva finds the gold. It'd also be nice if they cut it at the coronation, although I think it'd be too fast paced if they did that.

EDIT: Haha, just realized Ronove sounds just like Kyon in that last line. It's kinda been impossible to tell if they have the same seiyuu until now

Looks like DEEN will be burning through their budget just to animate the fight. Or maybe they were saving all that money for this scene specifically which is why the previous ones suffered?

Not really, in one interview he said that there lots of hints around the story and some people who are really close to reach the truth right now.

Obviously they're going full for the fight which I can't help myself looking forward for.
The fight shouldn't last too long even if they don't cut out anything, for animation can show what text will require several pages worth of it in mere seconds.
Now I only hope it won't be yet another mosaic comedy show at the end...

Battler and Virgilia talk-2 minutes, maybe? Enough to perhaps mention Hempel's Raven.
Finding the corpses-4 minutes at most.
Epitaph Discussion-Mumble something about how it's so hard, everyone's stumped, but Young!Eva knows the answer. 1-2 minutes, cut to commercial.
Eva goes to the library-1 minute, maybe? Enough to pan down to her face and go "WOAH!" and Young!Eva with a "I told you so" face.
Eva finds the gold and sees Rosa-3 minutes.
Young!Eva being bratty and refusing to share the gold, succession ceremony, etc-4-5 minutes.
Evatrice's abuse of save states, Battler's disgust, and Beato's change of heart-3-5 minutes.

Assuming Banquet lasts 7 episodes, they have to get to Beato's characterization as soon as possible.

Magic Battle - Should only really take 4-5 minutes, maybe even less.
Battler and Virgilia talk - About 2-3 minutes.
Finding the corpses - I'd say 3-4 minutes in total. Episode break can occur after they find them all.
Epitaph discussion - Give it a good 3-5 minutes. There's a lot in there.
Eva going to the library and reading the atlas - All together I'd say 2-3 minutes.
Eva finding the gold - About 2 minutes.

They can either end it on that or when Eva and Rosa meet outside the gold room. Evatrice can come the fourth episode.
