Dragon's Dogma (PS3/Xbox360)
Didn't see a thread for this so I created one... Dragon's Dogma is an upcoming action-adventure game that is being developed by Capcom for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game has an open world fantasy setting and is planned to be released in North America on May 22, 2012, May 25, 2012 in Europe, and sometime in early 2012 for Japan. The player will be able to select between various types of characters, of which nine have been revealed so far: Fighter, Warrior, Mystic Knight, Strider, Ranger, Assassin, Mage, Sorcerer and Magic Archer. Gender choice and appearance are also available, although not much is not how deep the setting goes. While the player's party is exploring the world, the three party members who accompany the main character will be controlled by artificial intelligence, but the player can issue orders like "Go", "Help" and "Come to them". One of the party members is a non-playable character (NPC) and belongs to the main character's world. The other two party members are NPCs borrowed from other players by connecting online, but the game will not require an internet connection. However, the player can only borrow the NPCs from other players, not their main character. The party members will talk, seek out the main character's help, and will even provide information about enemies. The player will need to work on strengthening not only the main character but the party members also. The game will feature a "grab" action, where the main character can grab on or cling to enemies. For example, the main character can either grab on to a giant griffon's legs and attack it directly, or climb up to reach the top of its head for a more lethal blow. "In a lot of action games, with big enemies the tendency is just to have you hacking away at the shins. You don't get the full effect of fighting a giant boss," Itsuno, the director of Dragon's Dogma says. "With this game you can climb all over it. If it has a body part, you can attack it." The ability to climb enemies has drawn comparisons to Shadow of the Colossus. In addition to the large open world, Dragon's Dogma will also feature a large main city environment with over 200 NPCs who will move about according to their own time schedules. Players can look forward to anywhere between 30 and 100 hours of game time from Dragon's Dogma, with the former figure for normal play with the latter figure for those who wish to dig in to the game. Why isn't this game getting any comments? I thought people would be more... excited.. ^^'
But anyway, this news that will draw attention... for sure... Capcom has a Berserk collaboration in Dragon’s Dogma. Their open world action game has costumes for Guts and Griffith based on the Berserk Golden Age Arc film series. http://www.siliconera.com/2012/02/16...erk-character/

Holy crap, this has to be the one of the most hilariously inappropriate menu music for a game, ever.

Tired it had alot of fun creating characters.
Hell you can create the ugliest man/woman or anime characters like Saber and Guts. Gameplay is similar to Monster Hunter with all that climbing on the moster and stuff, good physics and enviroment, if you got to one ledge area you can drop to another if you explore, I feel this will be a huge world. my conclusion from the demo alone it looks great. I can't wait to play the full game.

May is... Not really a good month for me With Diablo 3 and Max Payne 3 out on the same day, who has time for another RPG?
I'll probably get this for June or something... That is, if I'm getting it at all...

Not planing on getting Max Payne so I'll be buying this one instead. I don't know, I never did care about the graphics in games, which seems like a biggest issue for some players. The atmosphere and gameplay in this game are pure win, so I'm sure I'm gonna love the full version as I played hell out of demo. ^^

Taken from Capcom Unity
Youtuber Robert Cram (Editor at MSXbox-world.com), has loads of DD videos from both preview and reviewbuild. www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2EA69627... Some of the lastest are very informative, like : Charater classes and skills overview: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vf2eZX2Ye54&list... How big is DD in terms of mapsize: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5q3BJUgm-fI&list... Weapons and armor enhancements overview: www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYSDhXQ_-FU&list... the more you see the game in full the more it's alot different from Monster Hunter and Skyrim.

ALOT MORE BONUS eh? Wonder what is Capcom hidding in their disc locked content now. Also Pawns Unleashed iPhone/Ipad App, potentially you can win with this some "DLC" codes http://www.capcom-unity.com/gregaman...gma_mobile_app http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YId7nhv2qt4
