Ugh, my Norton installation started doing that stupid "heuristic virus detection" (I'm assuming this is SONAR) on some of my programming utility programs before it FINALLY expired and I convinced myself to download the free and better AV I've got on campus. Glad it stopped before it started deleting onscripter.
All I know, unfortunately, is that if you can get it to quarantine detected programs, instead of deleting them, you can remove them from quarantine and then you'll be prompted to flag them as "safe". But in my experience it always flags programs as "high risk" and instantly deletes them, and I don't think there's a way to get it to quarantine "high risk" files. Disabling/uninstalling SONAR may well be your only option, and from what the Interwebs are saying, I wouldn't worry about losing it. It seems to have more problems than benefits, and the rest of the Norton suite is good enough for your anti-virus needs.

I don't know if this is the right place to post it but I can't think of any appropriate thread
There is a fan made umineko game called Dolly's Dreaming Awakening "Cradle Song". It has really nice graphic and some of the music are quite good (credit to lee_bella who found it and post it on livejournal) Spoiler for pic:
Here is the link: http://nevermore.sakura.ne.jp/cradle/cradle.html (scroll down to find the download link) Look like it's only available til 11 april, which is today There are 3 parts. It would be nice if someone can do a rough translation of it ^^

In the Japanese version of the game there is a menu bar at the top of the window with an オートモード (auto-mode) option. This feature does what you are asking for. However, the readme says that this feature is not available in the English version due to technical restrictions.

I've got a quick question. Does anyone know if the Music Box for the Episode 6 disk is translated the way the one on Episode 4 is? With song titles and artist names available in either romaji or English? And if so, is there a way to unlock it without playing through Episode 6? Thanks!

Awesome. Thanks, Ssol. =)
I've been wanting to put some Umineko BGM on my iPod, but the file names don't always make sense, and there's no artist info on them or anything. So I made a copy of the folder and used the info in Episode 4's Music Box to straighten them out. (It was seriously helpful!) I still need to do the ones for Chiru's BGM, but I've only finished Episode 5. I may just have to speed through Episode 6, so the Music Box'll unlock. There's a fast-forward feature, isn't there? I'll have to go look at the read-me again. Thanks for the help! =) |

Hi, I was having trouble with the English patch, can anyone here help me?
(This topic is way too much long... . _ .) Anyway, I just finish downloading EP4, and also the English Patch, (also I've set my PC into the Japanese-whatever-regional-thingy just like many people told me) But since I'm using Windows Vista, the Patch told me that is POINTLESS (... 5 hours in my life were wasted) The game is also working just fine without that patch, but I don’t know Japanese! =D Also, I’ve played the DEMO, EP1. And it was also working fine and with the English Patch. So there is a method or something that can help me? (It’s hard for my to get a Windows XP Computer right now, so... yeah... bad luck). |

Umineko in the US
Has there been any mention from 07th Expansion that the Umineko graphic novels would be distributed in the United States in the near future? And has there been any unofficial response that it is in the works?Or this will be restricted to import shops only.
