Lol, there's no real chance of Shana coming close to winning, so... I'm sad about that too, but looking at vote patterns and vote totals, no one really cares about Shana anymore.

Yeah, I meant they won't be participating next year, not retiring indefinitely.

Shana - Semi-final 2006, Finalist 2007, Winner 2008

I'd like to see it happen.

Well.. I can't say Shana has a good chance, but at least I can say what you said is not Shana's problem.

This is her 3rd time in the semifinal, and there are lots of people grumbling such dominance (It is weird to say she was dominant, because she never won it all). Now that is the biggest barrier she has to overcome.

Those who saw so many "Bean Shana" will realize that there are not that many beans in the semifinal. Bean means she will go to the semifinal, but it also means she will stop there. That was the double-edged sword. Let's see if the bean bites her back.

You forget that she won Korea Super Best Moe last year, so she did win SOMETHING, per se. Nonetheless, Shana has become in my opinion the most controversial candidate in the Saimoe land. I'll write an article on this later, but I have a gut feeling that she'll make the finals. Then she'll lose to Hinagiku by 2 again lol.

Oye. Remember when I said that if Shana makes Top 8 in J Saimoe, I'd swim the Yangtze river? Want to double that?

If Shana wins Korea Best Moe 2008, I'll swim the Amazon.

Now that bestmoe is reduced to these four, I guess Hinagiku really is my only option.

Great success always leads to great scrutiny. I look forward to your essay on Shana.

Hina got over 1400 more votes than the next highest semi-finalist (Horo)...

Akari sure came close again. Almost exact vote count from last round!

eh she got over 1400 more in the last round anyway, Horo did get 4800 2 rounds ago, the vote totals are so bloody random, how does she go from getting 4800 against whomever, and then lose like 800 votes against Rika when Rika hardly had much more votes then before :S

anyway i dunno who i'd want to win since i like all of them, but i think at this point i'll be voting for Horo and Hina

Because so many people vote in all three tournaments.
Or two.

COUNT, LC.

I think she's received the second and third highest vote counts this year.

Nice way to go out , Aria.

The funny thing is that Akari has currently the highest overall vote count.

Sht. This is unfair

Akari totally deserves to be in Top 4.
I guess I'll support Horo to win this thing. No repeat winners, no Kyoani winner yet, Shana is... well, Shana.

I would have been less bitter about this if there weren't so much dirty play. There were all kinds of arguments against Akari, which were put forward in very pursuasive manner. All the worse because the person who runs this dogfest tournament created a thread to lead a gank express his strong dislike against voting for Akari. Truly wonderful demonstration by sitemister himself in celebrating characters in the community But hey, that's BM for you.

There were arguments against Hina as well, like anti-Tsundere people, anti-two-timer people, but I don't think they were as serious, at least not as vocal.

Officially no. His argument was "I hate how people will say Akari won (if she did) because of one blogger. I don't care if it's true or not, I just don't like people saying it and/or believing it."

I also remember him snoring when they played Aria soundtrack during their podcast announcement. There is of course, no personal bias involved.
