Can i just say, HOLY F###!! This episode is now one of my favorites! Such a heart wrenching ep! Got me teary and stuff *sniff sniff*. I hope ep 26 will be a good ending for the season, cant wait!

Heart wrenching indeed! Although I found the Honoka/Suzuka scene the stronger one - this episode delivers!

Although I had hoped for it, there is still no clarification if she likes him (and just doesn't want to get hurt again) or doesn't like him [yet] (and just won't let him get too close so she might start liking him). Gaaah! Frustrating.
Also, he got slapped so many times! Poor boy That was bound to hurt...

Our dear Yamato-kun could stop her arm when he saw she was slapping him for more than one time... but of course not he got slapped twice or three times...
I mean he forced the kiss at first so he deserves one slap, but not so many... it seems almost like he raped Suzuka from her reaction. That girl needs to go to a psycologist, because she still suffers from the trauma of losing Tsuda Kazuki.

That is bound to leave a mark. I counted. She smacked him six times. I'd think twice before ever kissing anyone again.

She didn't push away until that car appeared, and then she went ballistic. At the same time, she stood there frozen with her eyes wide open as he kissed her. It's hard to say how she would have reacted if the car didn't show up. Maybe she would have only smacked him once or twice. It was left ambiguous, I thought, in a very clever, slick way.

Poor guy.

i think that she really does like him but since she doesnt want to go trough the pain of losing another loved one she is choosing to distance her self to protect herself from such heart break ever again.......but the slapping was just way too much....but he did kinda deserve it.......it actually hurt me as welll.....ouch..

I can understand Suzuka doens't want to lose someone she loves again, but they're is no way you can predict such a tragic outcome.
I dont' understand why Suzuka just doesn't tell him how she feels. It's painfaul for her and I think it's even more painful for Yamato. I'd feel really bad should I once have a girlfriend and she acts like that. Maybe Suzuka is the one who deserves a slap on her cheek

I think so too. She does seem to have fairly strong feelings for Yamato, which are hopelessly entangled with issues around her late, "almost" boyfriend and his death.

I really can't blame Yamato for taking his shot, although his timing appeared to be even worse than usual. Just contrast that kiss with the slick maneuver he put on Honoka in his room. I don't think it looks that bad in comparison. Maybe Yamato should let the girls make the first move. He has a tendency to misread situations, sometimes wildly, and he has the absolute worst luck.

Why should she she get a slap when she did nothing wrong? 1. They arent dating/together 2. It was forced. If you had a girlfriend who slapped you for a kiss then that is wrong because you guys are actually together which is not the case here. She doesnt tell him how she feels because she believes that if she does like someone she will end up being hurt like how she was/is after Kazuki died. If you watch from 19 minutes into it she'll tell you that.

If you try to kiss and look what happens, don't do so near a road. A car might just pass the moment you're getting started j/k, I am actually of the opinion such a thing shouldn't be forced upon another person (even if it's just a kiss), and one or two slaps might have benn well deserved!

The one I really feel sorry for is Honoka, besides being a little possessive she hasn't done anything wrong, and she even trys to help Yamato get together with Suzuka. I personally like Honoka a lot more than Suzuka, I just don't know what Yamato sees in her, besides for being a good athlete(which isnt worth much anyway) there is nothing that makes Suzuka a better choice than Honoka, unless you want to date a total bitch, and its not just her confusion about if she wants to go out with Yamato, in her flashback that explained all the history about her and Kazuki she was a bitch to him before he confessed, I dont think it has anything to do with her confusion, I think shes just a bitch

I don't think he forced her. I think he surprised her. There's a really big difference. That's why I brought up the Honoka scene. I'll watch the scene again, but I don't think Suzuka resisted at first. I think she froze and didn't know how to respond. And when she finally pushed him away, he let her, and he tooks his slaps like a man -- or a hapless punching bag. That's pretty much up to the viewer to decide.

Here's what I learned:

Do not kiss Suzuka in the street. If you absolutely have to kiss Suzuka, do it indoors, with the windows shut and the curtains drawn.
