Such a nice, lively voice for Rea. I wonder if the way she sounds and speaks would permanently change like in the C81 preview vid after she becomes a zombie.

I hope they also release another PV that includes some lines from animated Ranko and Mero. I've heard them in the C81 vid, but I want to see them animated in a preview too.

A nice first episode. I can see Chihiro trying to ressurect Baabu and how he meet Rea. Deen succeded to imitate Shaft's style and the opening/ending themes are good to watch. Next episode will talk about Rea's past.

Studio DEEN, you say? How come we're getting that old Shaft feeling, especially in the OP? Staff crossover or flattering imitation? I liked both the OP and ED, and their animations. OP by nano.RIPE, ED by Annabel.

I did feel as if things were going a bit slowly, but if people who haven't read the manga are satisfied with the pace, it's okay. I'm just eager for coming developments.

Uchida Maaya doing a very nice job with her voice, except for the unconvincing screams. I do like Kimura Ryouhei here. Living up to his seiyuu award. And Iguchi Yuka was outstanding as the little sister. Uchida Maaya:

I haven't seen the episode yet, but from what I read on blogs, it seems different from the manga. I'm not a huge fan of the manga to begin with, so I don't know if I'll follow this.

Arararara, Saten-san's be multiplying recently...

It was actually a pretty enjoyable first episode. Other than the fact the OP's singer was the same one that did HanaIroha (Oh gosh, I thought it was all over when that ended, but no~), there isn't anything to complain about. The protagonist's whole necrophilia is somewhat disturbing though, but well, he isn't bothering anyone with it... (yet).
It seems the next episode is Saten-san's side? And then I guess it will merge with the first episode, showing how she died and why she came back from the dead.

Yesterday, I accidentally thought yesterday was Thursday, but it actually wasn't (of course), but now that I am in the correct time frame, it still is surprising how little anime there is on Thursday... (A good thing though)


To be honest, I preferred Umisho's artwork though!

Wow, Rea looks like a very cute character and her seiyu does a great job so far. She's well drawn and animated, but I guess that's to be expected since it is a first episode.

I had a WTF moment near the end of this episode where Rea exits the scene and then BAM, she's back breathing heavily and shoveling ever slowly towards our male lead.

Someone please tell me what did I just watch? Let me make this question simpler: what genre would this fall into? The psychological make up of the both lead characters is alarming enough to raise my interest. The guy doesn't like living things, and the girl is probably being sexually abused by her father.
