That'll happen soon, as the specs on the Vox include the use of optional combat weaponry: ranged, close-in and melee.

As mentioned, it's great to a see a far more upbeat and positive protagonist pilot who so readily accepts piloting rather than an emo who's all, "I don't want to be involved! This doesn't concern me!" and stuff like that. So it will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

Of course, gotta love the OP and ED too.

I suppose in situations where you're asked to save the world with a giant robot, "can I go to the bathroom first?" is a pretty reasonable request by comparison.

Whether the Voxes Aurases are really evil or not, the names given to them, Midori and Orca, I'm totally okay with. The Jersey Club anthem is sufficiently catchy, too. More things need anthems.
