i disagree...well, the scripting in and of itself is fine, but the shrillness that was present in the first few ep of birdy with Maaya is all but gone, which I thought was a nice touch. Her and Mizuhashi Kaori were the only 2 VA's that had that unique touch...or atleast were capable of adding that touch...

now it's just mizuhashi kaori atm

Well nothing like taking a trip off world. Senkawa definitely had that punch coming though. Honestly considering he was right there when Tute was lost you'd think he'd have some sense. What a shock that someone is trying to hide how badly they are hurting and putting up a front.

At least he attempted to redeme himself later on. With coming out to defend Birdy at the trial. Even if an argument like "She's trying her best" isn't that amazing . Besides sure that hearing the dangers his presence presents to Birdy have hit home. A bad situation could really develop here that could mean the end of Birdy's mind. Honestly not worried about it and possibly seeing it as a punishment for what happened.

Skeletsu is an interesting enough guy . Just comes out of nowhere and starts attacking. Well guess if your both extremely strong this kind of greeting isn't that crazy. Clearly a pretty good guy overall. Still the Riunka being some kind of super weapon was a shock. Having that thing on the planet is a serious risk. Especially with misguided people looking for it.

I really don't know why i'm watching raws. I mean i'm good enough with manga material, though i get more out of this watching subs. Saying that, finally got around to seeing the third episode.

I knew he was going to die, though i didn't think it would hit me as hard as it did. It must have been Tute's few last scenes that made his death so hard to take. Really emotional scene, especially with the beautiful flashback added at the end. That really got to me.

How does Tsutomu go to school daily in his body, if his consciousness is inside Birdy and his real body is being 'fixed' ? Or does Birdy have some shape-shift ability of some sort ?

He and Birdy can swap appearances. Birdy has to allow it first though.

Watched upto episode five, and i still rate this as one of my favorite shows of the season. I must say it's pretty challenging trying to adapt to a different environment when you're so used to the Earth setting thanks to the first three episodes. I'm sure that doesn't help along with what people have been saying.

I can't wait to see episode 06, 'cause i've been missing Maaya.

Political situations like that just leave a bad feeling all around. To deal with the union had to allow the people killed in the terrorist attack to be sacrificed. The experienced have to take the blood onto their own hands. Can't blame Birdy for being angry and the guy that took the hit is strong enough to not die from it.

Was pretty funny when Senkawa and Birdy were in sync there. Reacting in the same way has some funny moments attached to it. Not a bad job with using Senkawa to get into the base. Good thing that girl has a heart or he might have been in a little bit of trouble . Did a pretty good job with getting a bit of help from that undercover guy to escape his cell.

A good fight and really have been enjoying things.

She was wearing a different outfit. It wasn't her standard combat uniform --- you can tell if you take a better look (yes that means i did <3).

That's right. The hooker outfit was much less revealing than her regular uniform.

Oh. Seems your right. Birdy's clubbing costume shows her midriff. At first pass it looked like she'd just put on a white version of the shocktrooper jacket Skeletsu wears when he breaks in later. That does leave the question of how much the shift in the prologue to episode 1 was Tute rather than the costume morphing. Also the other female characters [That I can spot and get a good look at, like the dancer and Nimukay] in the Bar are wearing more conventional and frillier bras.

Still leaves both Birdy and Najula showing more thigh while wearing thier formal tabards than Weegie who appears to wear trousers and a top under hers. But then she seems more a case officer and less a field agent than say Skeletsu or Kashugeza [who from the rule of uniform complexity is the lowest ranker in the scene at the end having no collar stripes.]

The civilian Altarians in the bombing scene don't seem quite so casual about skin so I'm going to assume the character with the budgie and tabard in the OP is also a combat type. I'm assuming that last is an agent of either the Army or the Council from the tabard and wish to stay hidden.

That was the only good part about the episode. She needs to ditch her other uniform and wear that from now on
