We all know ichika is going to end up with Houki, so why a harem i don't know , honestly Ichikia with any one else seems strange to me. But what I do find funny is how chifuyu doesn't even try to get Ichika's attention, and she is still beating the other girls at getting his attention/reaction.

personally I like his sister more, but since I got one also it would seem strange in my eyes and it seems awkward and not fitting of the atmosphere of the series . And I doubt they see each other like that. But I do love to read fanfics about it.....

Do you want IS to be replaced by magic or fantasy theme, then? I can pull that one off, although it will be a crossover

Nah, I meant a completely different machine. Because I read the first few pages of a manga. I forgot the title but I think it was called Valkyrie Engine? Or something. It kind of felt like IS since it was about a guy using a superweapon only girls can normally use. But the reason for only girls using it was kind of somehow justified that a strict weight limit was required to operate it on a practical efficiency.
The more I read it, the more parallels with IS I drew. |

Well as long as it has an IS, at least one that's functioning sometime in the story, it shouldn't be a problem.
...And I feel like I'm channeling Zero's personality the more I watch Space Marines. Maybe not the WH40K-verse overall, but the technology, weaponry and, in a way, the characters would fit in Athena's "Netherius Realm" arc.

I thought it would be interesting to design machines based on mathematical principles.
I wanted to see if they could somehow be a believable version of IS. It draws parallels from the manga I mentioned which also draws parallels with IS. So... yeah... |

Not plates except for standard kevlar and ballistic plates on the torso area. the rest would be 'soft' armor or smaller light plates around the skeleton. A 'realistic' exoskeleton as we understand it right now won't turn you into a Starship Troopers superhuman but will simply allow someone to lift more gear, carry more ammo and run and jump faster and further than a standard soldier can. The armor protection will be just enough for small-arms possibly up to 7.62mm fired. anything over that will be askign for vehicle-level armor which will be too heavy for the exoskeleton to support without collapsing under it's own weight while merely walking. This is current (EG 2014) level tech.
Anythign future, hwoever...

Guess I gotta snoop some more if I want to learn about stuff like that
Hm... a machine that's based on bio-quantum computing. So the machine uses a resonance protein structure that is adaptive to the pilot. The resonance causes a simultaneous dual formation of electron placement, it takes up the place of a need for the blackbox of quantum computations. It links up specifically with similar proteins to allow for high synchronous entanglement without falling out of alignment. In terms of memory, DNA is also mixed in with the protein mixture creating a highly powerful liquid bio-quantum computer. However the high resonance causes sub-atomic destabilization. An interference field occurs that negates forces that work on a sub-atomic scale. Gravity, particle charges that cause instability, all of this are weakened substantially. In effect, you have a machine that biolocks to your DNA capable of the most powerful computations. It creates a gravity dampener field and partially diffuses energy weapons. |

Hey, does Preset always have to be mounted on the suit - like the BITs of Blue Tears?
Thinking about a particular situation where the girls got brainwashed by their own IS. Each now represents a sin: Houki: Rage Cecilia: Arrogant Kanzashi: Envy Tatenashi: Sloth - because she can do anything Rin and Charlotte: Lust and Greed - for happiness Laura: Coward - using VT as a shell Natasha: Treachrous Madoka: Everything above |

No, best example is Yukihira. mounted weapons are unique. They make a 3rd generation unit a 3rd generation unit.
and you got the sins all wrong. I'm not sure whether you're Christian. And you're probably 8 if I remember right, but brush up on your 7 deadly sins yo lol |

Oh, I remember that. Thanks!
And I'm no Christian, but 9 girls is still better than 13 - I once planned 12 girls, each as a Zodiac and Madoka as Ophiuchus. But I also want to reserve the OC girls for Charles, Dan and Male Chifuyu - they're screaming to be paired up together. So, since Ichika replaces Houki as the heir of the Shinonono's School of Tsurugi, might as well changed Yukihara into something like this: Phase 1: Normal Phase 2: Heat Sword Phase 3: Heat and Cold Sword - similar to the Cold Kunai in Gundam UC Phase 4: Vibrate blade - A.K.A Phase Shift on a sword Phase 5: Plasma sword |
