#WolfPackProductions and #TV-Nihon are currently looking for experienced translators.

For WPP the interest is mainly for Transformers (The series never released in America), Rockman.EXE Axess, Mazinger Z and various other current and future projects including WebDiver and possibly more classic Takara mecha anime.

For TV-Nihon the interest is live action Japanese TV Shows, mostly Sci-Fi genre such as Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, GranSazer, Vampire Gigolo, Spider-man (70's Japanese tokusatsu version) and Sailor Moon Musicals (Myuu~).

The policy of both groups is to not do licensed shows that are scheduled to receive an official uncut subtitled release in North America. We are always open to doing older classic anime as long as a decent raw source is provided (At least 640x480 with good audio/video quality). We are not looking to do the "next big thing", though. So no Naruto here ^^; If either group were to take on new projects I'd prefer some nifty untouched/forgotten shows or things that never got picked up.

I, personally, am looking for people to translate various Japanese movies such as Battle Royale, Battle Royale 2 and Moonchild for side projects.

http://wpp-fansubs.com and http://tvnihon.com
Both channels are on irc.zirc.org (Also home of animesuki's IRC chan~!) and you can contact me (Cyberdramon) in either channel.

Thanks~!

Translator(s)

Hi, I'm a member of a kinda new fansub-group.. And we're currently looking for translators.. Unfortunately our last translator quit for personal issues and now we're in a little bit of a chrisis..
We would appriciate it if any japanese speaking person would contact us.. The easiest way to contact me would be through irc, where i go by the name "Mizuho" @ Rizon, Aniverse, Zirc & DeltaAnime. Another way of contact is to e-mail me at da_mizuho@hotmail.com.

There aint much more to say now... Well, even if i don't find a new translator.. I just had to try

Well, in my opinion, we should a pinned thread, because for tranlsators like me, it's really hard to decide what groups to invest in when all the requests are so generic: "We need translator. Talk to us at our channel. Etc, ect, etc.". I know we have a thread for needed jobs in fansub groups already, but I feel we should have one especially for translator requests, stating what anime the groups are doing.

I would love to help if I would just know what anime you guys are wanting to do, so that I might have some basis to make a decision on. And good luck, because translators are hard to find these days. Another alternative would be doing joints with other groups.

I'm looking to join a group as encoder. I've asked a couple of groups, but they don't see hugely interested ¬_¬
I wouldn't say I'm a GOOD encoder, but I'm certainly very competent, and looking to get better. So, if anyone needs an encoder I'll be happy to discuss and take any tests for the posistion.

PM me on here, or chat to me in #AnimeSuki on ZiRC if you're interested

Thanks a bunch...
