I wonder what kind of shinai Taiga has... so I can put a wooden tiger strap. I tried this one, but I can't see her entering in any competition due to the wooden tiger strap.

Actually, that's canon. She would have been much more highly ranked as a Kendo practitioner if she hadn't been thrown out of tournaments for having a tiger strap.

Did Kiritsugu knew that Kotomine survived the war? If yes, then why didn't the former finished the job? If no, how did the latter escaped detection?

Because Kiritsugu was too weakened to fight Kotomine, and was also more worried about raising Shirou and trying to get Ilya back.

Because he wanted to discourage Shirou from being a magus, and any information he gave him along those lines would just encourage him, because he'd realise that Kiritsugu thought he had at least a chance of becoming one.

Only if he saw the bullets... and the gun (and trace them). Then overload them with prana (Broken Phantasm)... but that's theoretically...

For real, I think the only thing he can trace are swords, spears, a bow and Avalon.

But Shirou can project anything. He just has to have the prana necessary to do it, and know what it is and everything about it (for it to work, that is).

Actually, I don't think Shirou is capable of tracing a gun, and I certainly don't think he could trace Kiritsugu's origin bullets.

He traced a ton of other things, so why can't he do a gun?

When he traced them, though, weren't they empty on the inside and wouldn't work even though he understood the object he would try to trace? IIRC, he understood the heater that Issei asked him to fix and the problem with it and so was able to fix it and all, but he wouldn't be able to project it. I think the same would apply to an attempt to project a gun. The only reason he can project swords correctly (with a few extras, like Rho Aias), I think, is because of his reality marble.

I forgot to ask this before, but why did Kiritsugu taught Shiro half-assed magic in the first place? Or did Shiro find his journal or something and learn from there?

I took that as he was unable to at the time. If he knows everything there is to know about a gun, why can't he project it?
