Is there a Romance/Romantic Comedy/Harem left for someone like me?
This is what I've seen within the romance/harem genre (they aren't all comedies but i figure some are hard to separate).
Ai Yori Aoshi Ai Yori Aoshi Enishi Air TV Aishiteruze Baby Akane Maniax Asatte no Houkou Bakemonogatari Beck Bokura Ga Ita Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan Canvas 2 Chaos; Head Clannad Cross Game DearS Detroit Metal City Fate/stay Night Final Approach Fruits Basket Full Metal Panic Full Metal Panic Fumoffu Gokusen Great Teacher Onizuka Green Green Hanbun no Esuki ga Noboru Sora Happiness! True Tears Welcome to the NHK Zero No Tsukaima Zero No Tsukaima II There have got to be some more funny/good shows in this genre. I don't mind if the show is a romance drama but I don't tend to like shows that are a bit lighter and not so over-dramatic (i do find this to be the case with a lot of h-game/dating sim derived shows). I'm actually not to fond of most of the shows that I've seen on my list. For example, I currently like the show Cross Game, which isn't primarily a comedy but it's fairly light and it's not over-dramatic. I'd just like either a subtle, cute romance or a really funny romanticom or harem. Some other ones I particularly liked: Welcon to NHK, Rec, Ouran Host Club, School Rumble, Sola, Hayate No Gotokou, Mahoraba, Midori No Hibi... |

You have neither Maison Ikkoku nor Kimagure Orange Road on your list. You ought to check out the classics right?

I think you would love Maison Ikkoku. It's an old series, but it is the gold standard of anime romantic comedies. I was hesitant about it at first, but forgot about its age within a few episodes. You won't find many series as satisfying and enjoyable as that one.
There's a Ghibli films called Whisper of the Heart which is quite different from most Ghibli films and presents a very light and likeable portrayal of young love. Sort of similar to His and Her Circumstances, but not really. If you like Cross Game you might want to check out Touch. It is an older series by the same mangaka and one of my favourite series. It has a similar atmosphere to Cross Game, and some memorable characters. There isn't any of the cliched soap opera drama found in most romances. In fact going by your description I would recommend this one most highly.

You've seen almost everything certainly more than I have in this genre but here are a few suggestions:
Planetes- not purely comedy or purely romance in any way but has plenty of both and is excellent. Futari Ecchi - Normally I stay away from anything to do with Ecchi but this is an exception, its actually a pretty sweet story about a couple of newlywed virgins trying to find their way in the bedroom. It's very tame and can be quite funny and sweet.

you could check out
Sekirei Zero No Tsukaima 3rd Season Kampfer Shakugan no Shana you might also like Rosario + Vampire but the manga is way better than the anime series. also as rurupeceaue suggested Asu no Yoichi is a good one but im sure the romance will become a bit better in the second season.

Here are a few Romance/Comedy/Harem that were not on your list yet:
Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka - While nothing spectacular, it's a solid show with a similar feel to Midori Days (except... for the hand thing). The main character is an ex-delinquent who is still being feared, he rescues a girl from someone and romance slowly slips in. Later on, a second "love interest" comes into play, and the decision is to be made. Hatsukoi Limited - This show only fairly recently finished airing. It's a romantic comedy with a group of high school boys and girls taking their first steps into love. Not as heavy on the harem as the previous suggestion, but it's still there. Chobits - The only big title I could think of that's not on the list yet. An android in the form of a sexy young girl capable of feelings starts living with a caring farmboy who moved to the city for studies. Lot's of comedy on both sides due to neither of them having a good idea how to behave in the big city, and a romance develops between them. Also not as heavy on the harem as Akane, but it's definitely there. |

I was going to say Nyan Koi too. So far its hilarious and the romance aspect isn't drowned by it either. Just go with Frostii's fansub, its a lot better than the rest (as they usually are).
As for other suggestions... Anime:
Manga:
And all of those mangas are superior to their anime adaptations, so yeah.

Maison Ikkoku is gold. Kimagure Orange Road is it's contemporary and is crap. 80% of it is boring repetitive filler.
I see you're missing Myself; Yourself. This is good stuff! If I were you I'd check the anime relations at MAL's Beautiful Romance club. Last edited by demoran23; 2009-11-05 at 16:28. Reason: added MAL club link |

No Urusei Yatsura?
No Ranma 1/2? They may be older, but they kinda invented the harem genre, and many of what you've mentioned borrow some of the same gags, setups, and character designs. Old, but in my book they're required viewing, and still have some moments that stand the test of time. They are however both focused more on comedy than romance though. |

Honey and Clover II
Maison Ikkoku (you'll need to stick with it and resist all temptation to drop it in the early episodes) Touch (lots of similarities to Cross Game and some characters even look alike but the stories are different) Ah!My Goddess/Aa Megami-sama Seasons 1 and 2 Hand Maid Skip Beat. |
