I agree, even though I didn't mind the animation/art etc. towards the end. I could still not forgive that first glimpse of Hina though!

I think they should just stick with JC Staff but hey what can you do.

I'm not going to get my hopes up. I fully understand why the animators are reluctant to do the Greece arc: it's a Point of No Return in many ways. There are a lot of filler storylines and gags that they can't use any more once Greece is over. Kidnapping attempts, the mansion, Nagi's fortune, the inheritance, kidnapping attempts, the SPs, etc. I won't be surprised if this is another filler season.

I pray they just make it a little more interesting. The recent series was just above mediocre for me, and I want Hayate to be more than that.

I'd be okay with something more like the recent season. It's the second season I'm not a fan of. The odds of returning to the style of the first are even lower, but that's something I'd welcome.

This. I'd prefer something like either the first season (unlikely) or CTMEOY to something like the second season. And Athena and her arcs are overrated, seriously. :/

By the way, didn't the first three series have bigger gaps between them than CTM and this one?

Why pray for JC staff, when you can pray for something bigger? Say, Kyoani (highly doubtful) or PA Work. I remember how people didn't want Little Busters animated by JC, but it i fine for HnG? Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if a new animator picked it up. But what matters is that HnG get a new season!!

Lol that's beyond wishful thinking.

At least JC Staff is tried and true with their second season we know the team they used will be faithful, this is different than Little Busters.

I think we can all agree that we are happy there is another season coming out so soon after this one. (personally I was expecting a year gap or so like the last ones)

Yeah, I don't think anyone can seriously be unhappy about that, regardless of what they want the anime to be like.

Of course, I'm sure once we find out what the new season's gonna be like we'll violently divide all over again, but let's enjoy it while it lasts.

I hope the failure of "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" makes them drop any possible intention of making more original stories, spin-offs, or whatnot, and simply adapt the manga. If they're clever, they'll have the new anime made by an studio that is not Manglobe nor DEEN, or any other shit-tier studio.
HnG is a good franchise. They should go for a studio that can make a good job. The staff that did the second season with J.C Staff did a great job with it, and I would go back to them if it was up to me to make the decision. However, if they indeed have to go for another studio, for whatever reason, I'd say P.A. Works, A-1 Pictures, SHAFT and KyoAni would all be great for the type of story HnG is.

Haha yes I can see that happening quite much so. That or it will be war amongst the Athena, Hina and Ruka fans or a combination of both.
