Whats that in Pacific and Eastern time?

Im loving Spice and Wolf a lot. Going by the letter Lawrence recieved at the end of ep4, it seems like the church may be anti-horo and may do something similar to what they did in the Inquisition.

Well the church is basically anti anything they don't believe in As for what the church will do... well at the moment they may know nothing (the letter basically said don't mess with us or your little wolf friend gonna get sent to the church) This doesn't prove that they haven't already said anything but it also doesn't prove they did. Have to wait and see.

It aired about thirty minutes ago. 11:30 EST. I'm waiting on raws. Hopefully they'll be out before I've got to leave for work at 1:45pm EST. :l

Spoiler for Impressions of the Episode:

Alright Horo has been rescued it's a good day . Don't think anyone would predict a guns blazing charge into the enemy stronghold demanding Horo's return. Was a pretty stealthy maneuver to get her out. I'm still not totally clear on it, maybe they had an inside guy that helped her get out. Eventually we had an escape through the sewers.

Chloe made Horo cry....Get the torches ! Again not much clue what she said, but certainly wasn't anything nice. She's still around in the city though so will need to be cautious.

Good to have Horo and Lawrence back together with little delay. With her trying to choke him to death in the wagon that was part of the stealth escape. Really nice moments with her though. Lawrence I think confirming she was alright. With her head turned to the side she glances over slowly and then a small nod . Greatest things with Horo is her wide range of emotions.

Not much of a clue what's up with the currency situation. Someone who is better versed in Japanese and/or knows the novels can probably clear it up.

God my japanese sucks I need subs but all i know is Chole is about to become my enemy i dare her make Horo cry, I dont know what she said but yea it couldnt have been nice just because of that one scene Chole is not high up on my list right now. Touching moments indeed between Horo and Lawrence it was nice to see them back together. There was a lot i didnt understand so i will have to repost after the subs come out.

As always, an exciting episode for me.

-Milone Company showed how amazing they were.
-Lawrence shows how amazing he is.
-Hooded person=Chloe, yay

The Horo/Lawrence moments of the episode were enjoyable too, from Horo getting mad that Lawrence did not rescue her himself to Lawrence patting Horo on the head.

Probably being one of the few, I don't want Chloe to die...
She didn't seem to have pure evil intentions and hopefully has her own reasons for doing what she did.
With more than half the series to go, all we can do is wait...

I think its save to say Chloe says something along the lines of "your useless, a non-existent figment of the past, no one needs you not even the village, why don't you just disapper and stop draging lawrence down with ya" Something like that might be enough to tug at Horo's strings.

Well I could have guessed that it was something like that which pulled on horo's tail...

Chloe has no ill intentions yes...she is only acting like a mature and honorable adult to eradicate horo for being a god to hide her jealous of horo because SHE gets to be with lawrence

Nice ep...I really enjoyed how horo first reacted to being saved...she tried to strangle lawrence

Geeze what a shock that Horo didn't want to have anything to do with those villagers anymore. She symbolizes what is wrong with those people. Putting all the blame on Horo who has dedicated many years to keeping a promise.

Of course you can't be 100% against since she probably doesn't get that Horo can't keep the land going great all the time. Still....get the torches! If Chloe will make judgments without all the facts I'll let mob rage rule the day.

Frankly wouldn't be shocked that Chloe would reveal Horo to the church to get her killed off.

Ah Horo, getting upset that he didn't lead the charge to her rescue. I'll admit that I was with her a little. But he did a good job in getting the rescue going so its alright.

Still plenty of series to go. Though when you wish it was a bit longer.

Actually I don't think she'll go to church. maybe someone else in the merch guild will but not her. If she still wants any chance (and I mean any as I think Lawrence has a more brother/sister, teacher/student relationship with her were as with Horo is more Romantic, I've got reasonings for this but I'll post them somewhere else and not here^^) Seeking death againist someone close to the one you love doesn't help bring you together with them, more make them hate you for live.

Thats just my opinion^^

On one side have to say it's pretty cool to have a squad. Plus pitchfork mob action would be fitting with the setting so we should fit right in. But anyways, to war !
