Well from the looks of ep24 it sure looks like there setting it up for a new season. We'll just have to wait and see. I don't mind seeing Rin again but Yuna has got to go or mellow out a bit. Her Kazuki antics is damn annoying if I were Kazuki I would of smacked her but knowing Kazuki he would sacrifice himself before hurting anyone.

What they'll probubly do is they'll somehow have Kazuki mysteriously become merged again and the girls will then need to fight over him once more, and the whole ugly thing repeats itself.

Wow! Just saw the last episode and I must say I didn't see that one coming!!! ^_^ Well at least all the girls have Kazuki san to themselves. There's obviously going to be second season I think because they have to get Kazuki to become one again and they threw a new girl in the mix, so I'll be disappointed if there isn't one. =(

ok, for all those who found the trip through Kazuki's memories confusing, here's the deal: childhood Yuna and Yamase NEVER met. NEVER. In Kazuki's head, his childhood memories got jumbled, and he accidentally made the mistake of thinking that his marriage promise was to Yamase, he grew up believing that. That's why he constantly hid from her, as she explained in the last ep. However, the truth started to re-assert itself after he met teenage Yuna, and saw that SHE was the one wearing the locket he remembered. This is what caused all the trouble, the two memories got mixed, and required both girls working together to restore the last bit of his ashes. At the end, where you see childhood Yuna and Yamase running to Kazuki and hugging him, that was a MENTAL construct that Kazuki imagined as he was lying in bed, about to be destroyed. The day he made it snow, Yamase was no where nearby. Yamase saw the snow from her house, while eating watermelon. Kazuki made it snow for, and got the promise from, ONLY Yuna. By the way, the new girl at the end is the new transfer student, and I get the feeling that SHE is also something out of Kazuki's past too... though I could be imagining that. Someone's who has read the manga would know the truth, since the manga is MUCH longer than the tv series.

Now the way I udnerstand it, things go like this : Kazuki promised Yamase to make snow, but initially he couldn't, and then when he walked alone he met Yuuna, then made snow... acutally from Yamase's memory, she tried to look for Kazuki to ask about that day's snow all the time but got avoided. If she didn't know about that snow being made by Kazuki, there's no reason she'd try to find Kazuki for th answer. So she must also suspected that the snow was somehow linked to Kazuki, however she couldn't be sure because she was not there, so she tried to ask him about it.

well, now I have to say I really did enjoy MAburaho a lot. So much Im definitely going to purchase it when it is released. It has a lot going for it and the ending didnt spoil the experience or me. Its cute, its absolutely hilarioyus and it has 4 girls with cool personalities who actually show their care for the main character, not just fight each other for him. In that respect this anime shines. I do htink that there was far too much fanservice though but that is standard in shounen harem anime.

Yup, I thought it was more like that as well. Though from what I got, Kazuki never promised to make snow for Yamase becuase, like you said, he couldn't(or didn't think he could.) Then when Yuuna asked him to make snow as well, he actually tried for her (and maybe that time he did it for Yamase as well, because he knew she would be watching somewhere.) And probably becuase of it, they both asked him to marry them. And yup, because he had made practically the same promise, his memories of it were merged.

Eh, pretty much just said the same thing as you. :P

Heh, I enjoyed it. I liked when Kuriko said she could handle 5 or 6 of them by herself and then told Rin and Yamase they each could have one and Yamase got really happy about it... lmao

Come on Yuuna, deal with it. This is like a perfect harem-anime solution for a guy who can't make up his mind which girl he wants

I would like a Season 2.I just love the character designs on the show, and even though Yuuna has gotten pretty annoying, I still love Rin and Kuriko.

Altho looks like S2 would go into loli-land with the young girl wanting to marry Kazuki.

Ahhhhh the perfect ending for a great anime series but this got me thinking is a 2nd season really that good an idea i mean in the next season when they wrap up kazuki's current multiplicity problem he might be (kami forbid) forced to choose one of the girls and does any one have any news of the manga version of maburaho or who might translate it to english (hopes its not tokyopop they killed initial D)

Yeah, the second season content is unknown at this time, but it's "rumored" to have the same girls all fighting over him again and they work to make him one person again. When they combine him he's going to become like 8x's more powerful than now and he goes on to save the world or something. But nobody gets his genes once again. (opens up a 3rd season)

i wouldn't imagine so
remember he had SO much power that it split him into 8-ish people, i think each one is about as strong as Yuna or Hayase.
Oh, and each one probably only has 1 use of magic (8 kazukis, how many magic uses did he have at first...?)

Hmm... I counted at least 10 shikimori at the last scene... anyway the "8 magic" limitation should already be gone, since he already used up that 8 magic, now after he's restored he could have unlimited magic

Anyway, I love the ending as it is, it's a great all happy ending, the problem of too few Shikimori with too many girls is perfectly solved, and now we have enough Shikimori for each and everyone girl, isn't that wonderful? This is definitely the best ending for all the harem shows I have seen

i personally liked the beginning of it but the ending left must to be desired
