who knows what that monster was. but all i know is i would be as afraid of that thing as moka was. Also about the begining of this chapter i didnt know kurumus tail could do that. We can probably now safely say that is Akuha in the cloak .

well that monster looked like it came from the movie aliens XD . anyways outside of the monster im really wondering what kind of relationship issa had with mokas mother because they looked like they get around really nice. So it doesnt really look like there was no love involved in there marrage. Also i just wonder what they where talking about when moka was easedropping on them. but i guess that will have to wait tell we get a translation. btw this is the most ive posted in a long time XD

Well I didn't know that Kurumu's tail can do that either ... and it seems that she will also learn a part of Moka's sealed memories as well.

I have also noticed the brief appearance of Akuha in the cloak, tbough I'm kind of wondering what her actual intentions are at this point, since I thought she had tears in her eyes, though I might be a little mistaken about that.

I also definitely agree with what you said earlier usspaul about s**t hitting the fan in the next chapter, since it seems that Akasha is well ... pretty pissed at Akuha for revealing the existence of that monster to Moka.

Thinking about it ... maybe this is the beast that is going to hatch from the egg that has been planted in the Yukki Onna village and what we saw here was their .... mommy.

If that were the case, then the Vampires' presence in that mansion would be as inconspicuous as a camel in a mountain even from a human's point of view. If that thing is the mother, then it would follow that she bears the same power as the hatchlings who destroy the barriers that hide the presence of Ayashi settlements.

Despite what I said though, it is a plausible theory because there's no other place that's been hinted as the origin of those eggs up until now. So it might just be that the queen monster doesn't have the powers of its hatchlings and its sole purpose is reproduction. But what would it be doing in House Shuzen's basement? After all, as usspaul suggested, Issa and Akasha seem to get along very well. Being a Dark Lady, it should be pretty clear that like the other Dark Lords, she hopes for a peaceful co-existence with the humans, and with her marriage with Issa apparently more than just an arrangement of some kind, Issa himself might be aiming for the same thing. So why keep a monster that could easily shatter the barrier between the human world and Ayashi settlements and lead to a war between the two sides as a result? Possibly it is to keep it from getting into the wrong hands, but considering Akasha is a Dark Lady, and with the help of two Dark Lords, surely those three could've devised a way to make it completely impotent.

As for why Moka was banished from House Shuzen, it could simply be because Akasha was trying to protect her from whatever dangers that monster in the basement represented to her, and she didn't want Moka to get involved in affairs that would be too dangerous for her to deal with in her present state. It's quite likely there were Ayashi already looking to destroy the barriers between humans and ayashi, and Moka was too precious to Akasha, for whichever reason, to let her die in a possible battle between her and the enemies.

I've been wondering something for a while now:

Is Akuha even with FT? We already have several character from FT trying to avoid having Akuha and Moka meet which doesn't make sense because the best way to succeed to to make your strongest enemy your ally. Miyabi was probably avoiding letting them get to Hong Kong for that reason. Kahlua was doing the same thing and both are from FT. Moka is actually pretty neutral even though she has fought them but that is more due to the circumstances she was in at the time.

Ever think of it like this, Akuha was from a group opposing FT. She tried to recruit Moka into them showing Moka that dragon and telling her what was going to happen as a result. Moka never got that far though and was kicked from the household. FT then stages an attack on Akasha. Akasha was guardian of that dragon which they needed and she opposed FT as well so they tried to get rid of her. They then make it seem like Akuha is at fault so that Moka wouldn't join any group related to Akuha since Moka had so much potential that they wanted for themselves. Moka happens to come in afterwards and maybe sees Akuha standing over her mother and flips out causing a massive fight between them to happen.

I have a feeling that it was Akuha's objective to find that thing, she knew right where to go too and she was willing to take on Akasha Bloodriver face to face. Heh, heh, this is sweet - I haven't been this excited for a chapter in a long time.

Hmm, I wonder... no, Akasha doesn't seem like the type... but that's the trouble with it... We're all assuming that Akasha sees humans in a plausible light but that may not be the case. At this point, I'm ready for anything. Whatever it is, Ikeda's wow'ed us before, I be he's gonna wow us again.

Moka was sent away by Akasha for seeing that alien/dragon thing. Akua is also probably responsible for Akasha's disappearance - can't believe Akua would actually challenge Akasha face-to-face considering Akasha's standing.

This chapter also makes me wonder if Akasha is sealed or not. Her eyes can shift her pupils into those trademark slits at will but her hair isn't silver - kinda like Kokoa. Now that I think about it, chibi Ura-chan, Akua, and Kahlua can do the same thing with their eyes. What's the deal with that? I thought vampires had permanently slitted pupils.

It's the oldest vampire Arucard (yeah i know, real original name, but that is what it says lol). I'm guessing that Akasha is it's keeper which would explain the terrible detiny that Touhou Fuhai made mention of.

lol Alucard indeed. I wonder if the Shuzen family is trying to resurrect their ancient ancestor? Moka seemed to have an unusual reaction when she was exposed to Alucard as well... Hmm... Since Tsukune possess Moka's blood, could he get effected as well? So many questions!!! >.<
