I know. It's nice advertising, a lot of stuff you see in the anime are big brand name items, it's just that the fans are taking this way too seriously and it's getting out of control.

It doesn't necessarily make it K-On! merchandise, short of someone officially selling it as so, but it's still a product of association that people would probably buy or sought after just because of it's iconic cameo image in the show, like the Silhouette Titanium Model 8568 sunglasses to CSI: Miami, the Mateba Model 6 Unica autorevolver to Ghost in the Shell, or in this more mundane and pointless case, a blue/white-striped rice bowl to K-On!...

Even if you don't understand Japanese, you should be able to tell what that bubble with Mio's image is saying.

Yes, Mio is in the middle of the bowl. This tells me that the bowl is a K-On merchandise.

Damn now I know why they did that bowl thingy, Kyo-Ani is smart!
The rice bowl will be sold at Comiket 76 by cospa as part of a K-ON set for 5000 yen.

Me as well. Yay for those cute lil Nendoroids! I wonder when/if they'll have Azunyan too.

As for the Alter ones, I'm already donating to the Alter fund, I got no more left for them. Dear Kudryavka, wafuu~

Here is a suggestion. After getting Mio and Ritsu's figurines and adding a bit of imagination, you will have a fine display.

The problem with the Nendoroids is that I only really just want the Yui and Mio one (and Azusa whenever that happens), but at the same time I would feel dirty if I don't buy the complete set. I'll also be getting both the Yui and Mio 1/8 figures, so I better apologize to my wallet in advance.

The killing marketing strategy of Nendoroids and FIgma is that you will feel the need to buy entire series so that you can exchange optional parts of different sets or put them in display as a whole group.

They're Banpresto merchandise and the 2 of them come as a set, I think selling only around 4000 yen.
