I would have to say for the moment my favorite band is Trivium. Their last cd Shogun has lasted quite a while for me.

1-Garbage- Garbage is my personal favorite band for personal reasons. Their music helped me deal with some though times. For that they will always be my #1 band.
2-Blondie- I consider Blondie the greatest band ever. No other band could do so many different types of songs and make them great. Punk, bubble gum pop, valets, power pop, reggae, early hip hop. No band can touch that. And if you disagree just have a listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=weyBdXDg0Ro&fmt=18
3-L7- Maybe the most underrated metal band ever. These chicks rock harder than 95% of the male bands.
4-The Ramones- So many awesome songs. Plus they influenced so many great bands. Rocket to Russia might be my favorite album ever also.
5-The Sounds- The best contemporary band today. I can't wait for their third album.

Counting Crows has been my favorite for a while now and if they keep cranking out good music like they do it should remain that way.

Lol, I so agree >.>, now that I look back around 2 - 3 years ago, they had that video where the wife/mother of kids started stripping down, and dancing on the hood of the car.
