Frankly, I was amazed that Chiyuri's avatar wasnt the pink catbot seen watching all of the battles.

I didnt suspect at all that it would be Lime Bell.

Ahh, I was actually thinking of Utau (Ardor Maiden), not Rin. So Utau can't talk in RL?

No, at least for the moment. There's some hints in the latest LN volume that might change soon, but as of now no she can't talk.

At least it makes sense why Utau would have a Mage-type Duel Avatar. Mute characters in RPG-type settings (BB is a Fighting Game with RPG Elements contained in the UNF) are often depicted as mages or at least fighters with great psychic or elemental powers.

Do the light novels talk about Black Lotus' apparent powers of levitation?

She doesnt fly, but her "feet" never touch the ground except when she deliberately stabs or slashes it.

I also assume that this power is why she functioned fine underwater, where Crimsom Kingbolt (a fellow native of Tokyo) sank beneath the weight of his armor. Cyan Pile likely would have met a similar fate.

Metaphorically, I would guess that it's part of Absolute Cutting. Black Lotus cleanly slices through her environment regardless of its nature. It's why her feet are blades, even though she doesnt kick.

Yes, Lotus is one of the 3 Avatars in AW that levitates everywhere and not having to use her legs to support her weight. I suggest you read the LNs at BakaTsuki, a lot of your questions can be answered by reading the source material.

I still haven't made the time to read all of the Light Novels (though I'm getting to it soon), but I have a question about Items that it might answer.

I think Niko was shouting in pain when her Immobile Fortress was being torn apart? (Even before losing her arm along with one of the controls.) But I would have assumed that one of the advantages to Enhanced Armaments was that any damage against them didn't count against one's own HP.

Thus, destroying the Gale Thruster wouldn't hurt Sky Raker's life-bar the way that destroying Silver Crow's wings or limbs would.

We don't see Scarlet Rain's life-bar during that arc, so it's possible that she was feeling pain without actually taking damage directly to her avatar?

Her arm was connected to the control, and the control was part of the chunk of the Immobile Armor that got yanked off.

It still got cut off. Which will hurt because in that field the feedback pain is greater if I remember it right. And even rubles of rocks can do damage. Remember some of the battle of Silver Crow and his tactic used against cerberus? (can't remember the name) the guy that negates damage taken. He pound it into the surrounding to receive damage.

Remember when in Vol.2 she destroyed Haru's home and the building collapsed on her? She took a 2-3% in damage, but she was inside her fortress and was still in perfect condition to beat Haru afterwards.
