It's ironic that the guys turn the tables on Ogiue in their discussion at ComiFest (and for the guys who had episode 5's yaoi seared into their minds, this scene may make up for it).

The scene at the end where she's making her proposal for ComiFest 68 was sooooooo cute. I like how even the tops of Ogiue's ears were red in addition to her cheeks being a nice rosy color.

And here's a tip for the person who's worried about people seeing your yaoi doujinshi falling out of your bag, revealing your predilections: securely close your bag with the clasps - it's what they are made for.

Yes, it was an excellent episode. Ogiue would have a trauma, lol.

She's an interesting character. She's a conflicted mess, actually.

Deep down she's a little freakbot with all kinds of steaming desires but on the
surface she's got all of this self-hatred and repression going on so the conflict
is totally in character with this show:

In the first season, any new member of the club was usually found out to have
that side to them which the club gleefully outed (Sasahara, also Kugayama).

So to have Ogiue's kink exposed is a Genshiken tradition.

Anyway, I look forward to the translated version.

Is there no end the Ogiue's cuteness? Anyway if last episode was the Yaoi bait...well...Apparantly the guy's imaginations inadvertantly struck back this episode. It was amusing, though Kuchiki should be neutered. Trust me, its for his own good. Ogiue was so cute when she was stuttering at the end of the credit sequence too.

Bah...I'm a fanboy now. X_X

i think 06 started out a bit slow, but it got alot better after the half way point.

The legendary Ogiue Vs Ohno's chest was nicely done, very epic if you ask me. I still say that Ohno with glasses is one of the hotness versions of her that i've seen. The conversation between the guys was a nice new piece of material --- i didn't think the anime version would last the length the manga did, far to short for one episode, so i was happy with what was added. Ogiue game was brilliant, shame that didn't actually happen in the manga.

& yes, nice Itoshiki add-in.

Wow. Genshiken continues to get better. I thought this is one of the funniest episodes to date. And Ogiue's character is so adorable. Her seiyuu did a marvelous job in this episode. The scene after the ED made me LOL. 9/10

once you finish watching anime, just read manga.. btw I can't wait till the last volume is released[vol. 9]

After this episode I really think ogiue needs to cosplay a character who wears goth loli....defiantly.

She was a joy to watch this episode thats for sure what with all her little quirks and idiosyncrasies lol. Im also liking what there doing so far with translating the manga to the anime.

Ah, Ogiue. She's twisted, in denial, and has a strange hairstyle, but she's lovely.
The bit where she was listening in to all the guys talking about her, and what kind of game character she'd be was just priceless. What goes around comes around!

Some English viewers may not notice, but it's somewhat compare it to heavy accent you hear from countryside English farmers.
You know, the kind that you wonder if it's really English at all, since you can't understand a lick of it?

I wonder if the voice actress was from that area. Although it was a bit over-acted, it sounded fairly good.

EDIT: Ah, I just checked. She's from Hokkaido, so her Touhoku accent is probably mostly her "acting".
(people from Hokkaido doesn't tend to have a very heavy touhoku accent)

Ogiue's accent comes and goes when she's stressed, which makes it harder to understand her.
