You know, it felt like they skimped on Calibur just so they can focus on animating Mother's Rosario nicely. Can't say I'm complaining. Apart from where they didn't explain what Original Sword Skills are (hoping they explain it next episode), it went mostly as it did in the LN, though the flashbacks to how they got the Forest House was moved to be the first scene instead of later. Also, they managed to squeeze Sinon in, no matter how short her scene was

Good episode for the first half, but the second half draaaaaaaagged. I think the only part of the second half that wasn't 100% talking Zekken up was Asuna's arranged wedding meetings, which in and of themselves were stupid since her family should know how devoted she is to Kirito.

Well, they seem to be enjoying themselves..
Looks like they spend more time in game than out of it.
Exchanging experiences in a coffee shop.. nice.
It was sweet that they made it back to their old cottage.
Guess they wanted some of their old life back.
Next episode should be more action filled.

Nice to see Agil get some dialogue this episode. That scene in the cafe seemed to be an anime original (though it utilized background information from the books).

Oh dear, I don't know... :s I quite enjoyed the GGO arc, but the last three episodes have felt incredibly pointless and boring to me and this episode was almost unbearably sticky-sweet. I hated the throwback to the episode that ruined S1 for me, I can't with the adoring haremettes and the waifu's relentless barrage of wistful gazes and doe-eyed smiles.
It doesn't help that I really don't like ALO as a premise/game. Worried this will be another strong start-weak second half situation :s

It could be interesting, but consider me concerned :s

I was secretly hoping they'd have a brand new OP (well, new animation same song) for this arc, but I guess that was asking for a bit much. At least it changed a little bit.

Keep in mind from her family's perspective, Kirito is 'a guy she met playing a video game.' Judging by the fact that she was having marriage meetings at all, it seems like her family doesn't give two shits about her relationship with him.

Love the Mother's Rosario arc, and the adaptation is living up to expectation. Can't wait for more.

I havent read that arc, but im looking forwards to see how they go ahead with this, hopefully it will be good and stop ramming all this waifu junk in my face, Please just let there be a Female who is strong and doesnt bend backwards after getting rescued/saved/helped once by a stranger.

Concerned - but at the same time looking forwards to this arc. praying it does not disappoint...

Not only that but he rides an "old" gas engine motorcycle as his main transportation, which is sometimes a turn off for any parent let alone a rich girls parents. I skimmed through this arc in the ln (didn't heavily read it) so i'm looking forward to this arc, wanna see what i missed.

Asuna should just get taken away by an arranged marriage dude and things will get better for several characters. Except Kirito may commit suicide

*evil laugh*

This is Asuna's arc, she's the main character this time instead of Kirito. So we'll see a mix of those who are happy to see Asuna get some time again and those who are desperate for anything not Kirito.

Asuna's arc is finally here. Now she is finally getting her turn to shine. This should be a welcome change for those that wanted to see Asuna have a big role.

I would be more happy if this was the asuna before she met kirito, I'll still watch this but i dont feel it will make the waifu asuna any better. Either way hoping to see asuna kick some ass >.< would be a nice change for sure.

Still interesting first episode - waiting for the next ep ^^^

I don't know about others' but I really love to see Kirito-Asuna's interaction and every single connection with SAO
that's why just watching their date in Agil's place, fought for gaining house (oh wow! Kirito and Asuna are switching like they used to do), etc are very great pleasure for me

anyway, seems like Asuna's parents still didn't quite approve Kirito
Kirito must work harder
and also there is really a time when Kirito got defeated
so we could say Kirito Vs Zekken is actually a fight to reclaim Nitoryuu-skill...

I would sit tight for this arc which rumored to be one of the best and last good arc from SAO
I like the new opening sequence although the ending sequence is little too sad
