Problem Solved

I got the "[URaws] Seitokai no Ichizon ~Hekiyou Gakuen Seitokai Gijiroku~ - 07 (TVA 1280x720 x264)" raw on saturday. My comp keeps telling me that another person or program is using it, so I can't delete it. I went into safe mode and still couldn't delete it. I'm running XP in case that matters. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try deleting the file using the Command Prompt. If not, try deleting the file using a Linux Live CD and should bypass any possible deleting error.

Hi,

Edit: Sorry, I overlook that you already tried it in safe mode.

Well you can try to use this tool called UNLOCKER to delete the video file.

Hope this really works for you,

Good luck!

If you say that even in safe mode you weren't able to delete it maybe there is an error in the file system. Just do a scan just in case.

Open command prompt or go to run and type cmd.exe. Type the following:

DEL <file name>

You can drag the file to the command prompt so you don't have to type it in, but enclose the file name in quotes or it will come up with an error.

If it doesn't work, get a Linux Live CD like Ubuntu and open terminal. Type

rm -rf <file name>

This will force delete the file... also do a check disk before using the Live CD as it's meant for last resort.

Sometimes this happens to me also. How I solve it is by playing the file again. You don't need to watch the whole thing, just enough for the file to be loaded. Close the app and try to delete again.

Thanks everyone. I tried to use the Command Prompt and it didn't work, so I got the Unlocker and it worked. The raw is gone. Thanks again.
