Yeah but translated in English it sounds bad.

Ex.
I super want to go to the mall

I really want to go to the mall.

Really now... there's this thing called--- but never mind, there's no way you can have it being the Crack King you are, nor will you accept having it even.

Back to the novels,

Spoiler for Part of it:
As far as AC aerospace technology goes, theres nothing impressive about the six wings; its an apache with jet engines and more guns. Mach 2.5 is also no big deal when we have the HsB-02 and the HsF-00 going at 7000km/h with lightspeed laser weapons and magnetic iron sand blades that can slice cities like butter.

I understand your point, however, its one of those engrish things commonly found in Japanese anime, manga, and media. The author intentionally uses it for a comic effect of some sort. I know it sounds bad to english readers, but that's the way it is.

If you change "super" to "really" many of Kinuhata's lines would lose their humor. In a way "super" is needed to express her character, I assure you that you will probably understand why in later volumes, when she's traveling with Shiage. Once again, its her trademark which literally defines her character.

It's a super good choice to super include super, Hiro.

Actually, I'm guilty for suggesting something happened between Touma and Lessar, back when I was giving out spoilers on the OneManga forums

The truth is, Touma basically lectured her for 15 minutes on what's the proper behaviour for a girl, nothing more. Lessar did almost 'get bored to tears', assuming I've got the equivalent phrase in English right.

As expected... Touma isn't the world's most renowned Preacher Protagonist for nothing.

Quick question: Touma was refered to as One That Cleanses God and Exorcises the Devil in the first volume, right? By Kanzaki.

Or was it later and I'm getting confused. And has this name had any true plot significance?

your right. Maybe because of her japanese/amakusa status that's why she reads it that way even though it's much simple than than.

Come to think of it, what does Touma's name mean, as it's actually written?

Kamijou (上条): Upper Branch
Touma (当麻): Divide/Weave/Background Hemp

Here's food for thought from the Afterwood of Volume 14: Now, what is the difference between “神上” and “神浄”?

Both pronounced as Kamijou, and the first means "The One Above God" and the second means "The One who Purifies God"

Rank has nothing to do with complexity. Mikoto's power is nothing more or less than simple electricity, which humans have been able to harness since the 1800s. Mugino's power, according to Vol. 15, is actually forcing electrons into a state between a particle and a wave, which is considerably more difficult to achieve than it sounds.

There's also the fact that, according to Mugino herself, Meltdowner is drastically more powerful than Mikoto's Electromaster, but Mugino can't actually harness its full power because she'd kill herself doing so. Since her survival instinct is so strong, she's weaker than Misaka, who actually does have immunity to her own power.

Another important thing to consider is why Mikoto was chosen for the DNA sample. She's the case of a Level 1 raising up to Level 5 through sheer efforts, and this was most likely a factor in having her be the sample. Since one cannot be sure that a natural born Level 5 would still be a Level 5 when cloned, the scientists opted for getting a sample from Mikoto, so that there could be training if needed.

So basically, we have to look at why the DNA sample was taken in the firs place, to understand why the Mikoto Sisters were used for the project (in addition to Radio Noise).

But Mikoto's electricity is more versatile than Meltdowner, which can only be use for destruction.

I never said it wasn't. Greater complexity often means less variety. They both involve manipulation of electrons, but Mikoto's power involves merely harnessing their natural, well-known properties while Mugino's power forcibly changes those properties. I'd imagine Mugino's power could have rather interesting applications in the hands of a less sadistic and more creative person, but that's sadly not the case.

Mikoto has the potential to be able to, depending on how "real world" you want to get with your Esper physics.

Certainly™ , messing around with "super" will be like modifying Tsuchimikado's / Sasha's / Aureolus's weird speech patterns -- Do not want. The way that Kinuhata speaks makes using anything other than user Awkward since it already sounds super™ weird with all of those "chou" stuck in there, you gotta love her.

Speaking of, it looks like whoever edits for Nmaster should know some japanese and (by default) british English as well; for the record:

I noted that as well I thought to myself "Lessar's illusions got destroyed".

Also wasn't Touma kinda of... What's the english word for that again? Argh, it was the opposite of fumish... would that be stern or naive or something that mixes those two?

Bottom line is, he doesn't own any porn and hasn't looked at any porn (this was so stated by himself in self defense) and that the first naked woman that he has ever seen was Index in volume 1 (I guess his mom nor his cousin got unlucky xD)(and that would be Kaori in volume 4 for post amnesia, I think). It was obvious that the innocent Kamijou that gets doki doki from Last Order wouldn't be compatible with Lessar's violent carnivorous attacks.

-- Which reminds me, I have no idea of how much a can of juice cost in japan, so I don't get the 2000 yen joke.

--- Which reminds me, I have absolutely no idea of what the Curtana Original looks like.
