No doubt this will have it's own sub-forum in no time.
Your right, if this keeps up, the sub-forum will be a reality.

With 13 episode shows, I have only seen 1 show that has released DVD1 after the series ended, which is Minami-ke. And that was only a week. All others have a DVD out before they finish airing.

24-26 episode shows usually start 4 months into airing, which is what this is.

Nah, we'd need to be chatting about a lot of different topics at the same time for there to be a mini-forum. Definite potential though.

Have Blu-ray releases been following standard DVD release patterns?

Feel like the Blu-Ray change would be done just so they could make more money. Those DVDs usually cost more.

But I'm glad someone else also noticed the tooth thing. There were just sooooooooo many times I noticed it. Especially with Yui.

Just because of a post close after I'm going to make the point that this is quite untrue. They grafted elements from both the manga (suicide club and most of the pyramid scheme iirc) and the novels (the ending) AND added filler (MMO arc).

The new pattern in Japan is to push the Blu-ray back a month from the DVD. (Though I see this isn't the case here.) It isn't like they are dropping DVD and they are just throwing everything at Blu-ray these days regardless of.... well anything. Even stuff not animated in HD.

Start with OP and ED discussion then. What is your most impressive moment in OP and ED?

Mine is everytime Yui said "No, no, no" and when they ride the bike in OP; and when Mio make a step up, and when she spin back to the group in the final moment in ED.
Watching them make me glad that i was born in this age when animation is fluid and such eyes candy to watch

Question than: Your first posting on this matter suggested to me a Blu-Ray only release (suggesting that technology is advancing). Is this the case?

Yui's first lip-sync in the ED... that moment made her cute, hawt and sexy at the same time

And... anytime Mio appears onscreen

Blu-ray limited edition only.
DVD regular edition only.
(gg Pony Canyon, way to leech off those otaku and screw yourself in the process.)

It's only a matter of time really. I'm surprised it doesn't have one already actually.

Well, I just watched the first episode, and the highlights of the show for me was the over-dramatic "flashback" scene and the scene where they tried to ensnare Yui into staying.

Loving the bubbly humour so far.

Cheers.

It's called the "Light Music Club" so I don't think she'll bump up to slapping. XP But I'm hoping for more musical references as well.

Well, having watched the first episode now I have to say this looks like it's going to be my lighthearted fun series of the season.

Although I did find myself wondering "How many girls of that age are likely to have even heard of Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, or Jeff Beck?"

Depends on how into their music they are. Some teens have almost encyclopedic knowledge of odd subjects.

Saw the first episode yesterday. I love it. It's going in my list of favorite anime.
