Our local anime shop actually got some in. I bought one yesterday. Friend a couple weeks came back from Hokkaido & brought me one of the slightly larger trading figure too. I have a small collection as I seriously limit myself due to space. I'll take a pic somtime.

Ooops, brainfart. Sorry wrong series. Sometimes these names all mash up together in my brain, what with all the variations of Maho+ro/ra/ba/ma etc etc and Tsuki+etc etc. My figs are from Tsukuyomi. I'll get pics of them sometime anyway. The shop I think had a Tsukihime figure a long while back, but not sure if they still have it.

Hey there everyone! How goes the figure collecting? Anyone having fun?
Well, I thought it would be nice to post this here, my Pia Carrot 3 Takako Kinoshita resin kit. I really enjoyed building her, And that's understandable considering I'm a Pia Carrot fan I used the original art for her sculpt in the background, in case you wonder. Oh by the way, there's a voting for her, the link is in my sig. I'd appreciate it if you guys could vote for her, she's FN013 Now I did acquire some figures over the course of my absence here, but I've been a crazed Gundam Model kit collector of late .... |

Figurines fan, I need an advice...
I'm a fanatic of Evangelion ; previously, all my figurines were little Gashapons. To conclude it, I decide to buy larger EVAs figurines, from SEGA. After careful reflexion, I decided to go for buying the Evangelion Tennis (Tennis ???) Series. I'm midly worried about the quality-someone had bought them/heard of them ? (Also, it's true that there is an set of EVA Aphrodites figurines ?) |

BaronNoir I'm a big eva fan and I would steer clear of most of the crap sega makes.
Most of their figures are 10-20 bucks a piece and the colors are molded plastic not painted. Everytime you see a official pic of the figure the one you get doesn't even look close to the level of detail. But what do you expect for under 20 dollars. I either spend my money on a completed statue like my Misato from new line or one a PVC from good smile company, alter etc. their figures are a little more pricey 40-65 dollars but are well worth it. And yes sega did make a set of Aphrodites figurines of Asuka & Rei wearing like goddess dresses. |

Today I got the 3rd DVD of GITS 2nd gig, and it came with figurines of the Major and a tachikoma, the base for Kusanagi looks like it will interconnect with at least two other bases of the same type, so maybe following DVDs will have more.
So I thought I would take a couple of quick shots and post them.. |

not all of the sega toys are bad.... most are, but not all.
i have the winter fashion asuka and rei and i love them. above average detail, great price, large size. sexually appealing also. the school figures with the desks are nice. not the cleaing ones, unless u want those too. if u like eva figures u might save 40$ and get the gothic asuka. very hot. also there is a gothic rei coming out soon, if not already. i have the misato from newline which came out earlier last year. its good, but color a little off from the box picture. |

I like "gashapon" rather than "statue"
I like "gashapon" rather than "statue" , because they are cheap price and
need small space to store. The important thing is that are detailed and well painted. Example - series name: With Faint Hope Picture source |
