Episode 11 (possibly 12) *spoilers*

Okay. This turned out even worse than i thought. So indeed, Konomini was in the end a sappy romance show trying to have an excuse for a plot. (Perhaps the same could be said about Evangelion, except Eva wasn't focused on the romance, but on the angst part)
According to the preview (and it was predictable anyway):
Hikari goes normal again, then falls in love with Takeru (if she wasn't already ^^')
End of story.
Oh joy.
No really, if they want to waste my time, they should at least destroy the planet.
And add an orgy scene perhaps.

QQ there is gotta be some weird twist to how Hikari goes back to Takeru... Common it can't be that easy as..

...i wasn't really expecting anything else...
after all, before around episode 8 it was lighthearted and pretty goofy (even continued to be in some parts) so
besides, if you've seen Mahoromatic, and knowing the creators, you'd know they wouldn't just end it with a super-angsty ending

after all, even though Mahoro was completely obliterated in the second-to-last episode of season 2, she came back at the end of the last episode

besides i've said it once and i'll say it again: Gainax is HORRIBLE at ending series
1) Eva (people continuously whine about the 3 different endings)
2) Kare Kano (a blatant cop out after disagreements with the creator)
3) FLCL (while i liked it, other people were like "WTF?!")
4) Mahoromatic (Gainax did mahoromatic, right? well, see the spoiler above...)

i don't like to focus on the end, but rather the journey getting there (this after being disappointed with the endings of the first 10 or so series i watched)

Gainax gets on crack at the end of the series ..they always do, and they never change, and the hard part is to sub the weird philosophy they impose into the series

you forgot to mention Wings of Honneamise, which in my opinion is one of the best animes I have watched but has easily the worst ending ever conceiveable by mankind.

I hoped Konomini can pull some great endings like FLCL and Gunbuster, but guess it will just end up something along the line of Mahoromatic.

but still there's the chance that the world get destroyed in the last episode... one can always hope...

About the like with Takeru, it's hard to translate languages. For all we know that line could be horribly mis-interperted.

But yea in any way that line is fucked up...who was the moron who wrote this script? gah....he should of said something dramatic like "If you say that you love me, I can die happy" although that would be stupid too...

Did you notice that even after Hikari transformed, her expression keeps on changing? evil->sympathetic->evil->sympathetic it shows that she's hesitant about destroying the world. Ahhh... and so love will prevail and win over the heart of hatred >:]

I still don't have a grasp on Ryou's power. What the hell is that? First it appears to control the weather. Then it shoots some kind of ki-blast or whatever. Then it can control fate. Then it can seal off Akari's arm. Then it can impose some kind of hallucination/get into your head.

Possibily able to think of things and make it happen. I remembered he said in one episode that he had a power, and what he wanted to happen always happens. Or maybe he just know some magic kinda thing and is able to do all sorts of tricks.

I think there'll definetly be more action in the next episode.

It looks like, to me, that Akari would fight Ioneous. Also, the scenes with Takeru and Hikari in that grassy field could merely be an illusion or what's going on inside the two's minds as they're linked or something.

It could also make sense that they don't show the juiciest bits in the preview.
