The PV is GORGEOUS. As expected of Bones. The "let the rabbits run!" scene was fantastic, the backgrounds are lush and the character designs are fine. I'll probably get used to Kazuya's no-name VA soon. I loled at them makng de Blois' giga drill pompadour shine. Can't wait to see the real thing~!

Definately can't wait now! I hope the animation quality stays the same throughout the series. It looks really good so far.

Why of course they would, after all such amazing hair deserves only the best XD

Much better PV this time round, the animation was very high quality as expected, and the music was even better (it managed to counter boring voice and made me stay awake this time) Also is looks like they are already showing the event's of the first novel already.

Spoiler for speculation:

I find it amusing that on top of having her VA's identity silenced for now, Avril is nowhere in the PV. Not that she had much role in the beginning.

I suppose, though I still think they might be purposeful.

Victorique erased her XD

But seriously, I think they might have someone who's so high profile they want to surprise everyone with?

It's a shame from what I've seen that this anime isn't centered around fighting, just cause Bones Studio makes the best and smoothest fight scenes in anime.
For example: FMA Brotherhood, Soul Eater, Darker than Black

On the otherhand I am anticipating their take on the mystery genre and looking forward to it.

Juding from the novels that I've read, there plenty of action scenes to be had. Victorique and Kazuya are constantly in motion to the point where they become one organism. If she moves, so does he. I'd like to see how that's animated.

The way you worded that, it sounds pretty perverted. :P

Whoa, that trailer is intense! I like how this is going to be a mystery adventure series. That's something different and refreshing.

Oh I'm so glad I wasn't the only one thinking that

@ Same_Shark which is true that they do move a lot, but that's not what Asterisk was talking about. He was mentioning how there seems to be little fighting from what he gathered

Spoiler for and to be honest:

Well I wouldn't say it's not somewhat poetic, in a perverted way.

Looks interesting, plus I liked Shinku from rozen Maiden, and the protagonist here looks very alike. How about the boy? will be the boy useful in some ways or is the simple student who doesn't know what's going on until near the end?

Well, like I said earlier in the thread, Kazuya is very much like Watson. He's slightly less um ''insightful'' than the reader, but he's not useless. You'll have to see the show to understand how he's like, but needless to say, he won't be the center of attention. Anyway, 3 more day's to go now.

Excited?

I sure am . Not to mention it's not every day I go into a light novel adaptation with prior exposure to some of the source material.

Gosick to be streamed on Crunchyroll.

There we go, good news. No more worrying whether or not a group will be picking it up and all that. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll go hibernate until Friday.

Just got the first 2 volumes in English from Tokyopop ... seems to be many more already available in German, curiously. Hmm.

In any event I am looking forward to this coming Friday too - although I don't think I will hibernate.
