That's quite nice, Geta Boshi. It seems like girls have a lot of advantages when it comes to cosplaying/cross-dressing as male characters, but not the other way around.

IMO I think its not the skin but the photo effect by photographer or a filter used by the editor . Why I am saying this is coz the light feels a little to yellow doesnt it like early morning .

The Tifa costume is accurate...however, the face I think would need an American girl to match perfectly. Ditto the Rinoa.

The Suzumiya Haruhi though...I think that's as close as you come to those OMG GIANT EYES.

Personally I like kipi for Haruhi cosplay. She has some nice other cosplay as well, but she's not for everyone (i.e. not everyone likes her). Anyway here are some photos of her:
