Mikoto should have appeared long time ago, but because the anime has given a reason for her abssence so far, I wonder if they plan to use her Role from the manga or a new role for the anime. This is one of the reasons why I love this little show. They're breaking some taboos. How many romantic comedies can you remember where someone else but the designated ending girl gets to really kiss the lead in episode 5?

I don't think that counts as "breaking a taboo". If the guy gets to have sex with the lead girl in episode 1 - now that's "breaking a taboo", and it's already been done outside of hentai.

It's still exceptionally rare. Normal RomComs don't operate this way.

Not sure about unusual. Kampfer is, in the end, just another harem romcom. It's just done very well, with a very appealingly well-endowed protagonist.

This anime is breaking all sorts of boundaries and coming really really close to being something 18+.

The cosplay is epic. Sukumizu > Microbikini > Bunnygirl > Nurse > Gym suit > Cowgirls > Imouto > Neko-meido !!!

Considering both the lead girl and the lead guy is played by Natsuru, surely Natsuru can't have sex with himself or his whimsical other-half!? C-a-n h-e? One must wonder...!

While I agree the luster of Kampfer was somewhat lacking in episode 5, it still did enough to remain good. Shizuka!

It may be breaking some taboos though I'm not really surprised at anything Shizuku does. I mean she is so ahead of every character in every respect nothing can surprise me. Kind of makes every character feel like an underdog

. Can't beat her in a fight or in brains so the moment she is bored of playing around with Natsuru and Akane that's game over for them.

Situation just seems to get more troublesome for Natsuru as time goes on. Maybe he should avoid school for a while and focus on finding those behind all of this and seeing how they like fireballs being thrown at them.
