Yeah that's actually why I haven't made my own lol. It keeps ending up similar to that. I should re-phrased it...the crop is fine but when I resize, it looks weird.

And yea I know she's a bit different but in a way I did want a break from the usual cute Kairin I've been drawing. Claymore just happened to be a nice way for me to do that.

EDIT: I guess this'll do for now until I find a better one.

And in addition to that, since I like the anime so much I thought I would do my own version of Kairin as a Claymore. Here she is...but please note it's not in my "usual" style because the cute colorful version of Kairin doesn't fit into the world of Claymore very well. So I had to adapt it to fit it...if that made any sense.



Also want to say that I haven't read the manga so all I know is what the anime has shown. That being said, I have no doubt that they've already said who No. 8 is in the manga, but I didn't want to make Kairin a non-single digit...she has to be strong!...then again Clare is strong too but...that's not the point.

Also I had a bit of trouble coming up with her nickname (the kanji in the picture)...I decided to go with "Kairin of the Vicious Mind" which relates to her ability. Kairin uses illusions to help her battle. For example, she can create a duplicate of herself but her power is split 50/50 between her and the illusion. So to counter-act the effect, she can use her yoma ability to get both herself and the illusion copy back to 100% strength. Then they can do like...kick ass combo attacks and such. It all looks so good in my head.

Anyways, that's all from me.

Claymore Kairin looks very good, though I hope you'll never draw the awakened version , so she's ranked number 7. It's my favorite number ^^

Thanks Pellissier! I think I'll just hold on to my current avatar since I'm going to change it again in a few days anyway (new chibi Kairin ftw!) Well her rank seems to change a lot...by the looks of it I'm going to probably move her to No. 10 seeing as how all the single-digit ranks are taken.

And as for an awakened Kairin...well maybe...but don't get your hopes up.

You have a lot of talent for only 15 years old. Chibi Fumoffu Kairin just owns me haha (never thought about using a fighting game as a scene lol. very creative!). And bikini Kairin is looking pretty sweet too (love the hair in that one) Nice job!

Concerning posting images, I would recommend that you use imageshack. They make it easy for you to post your images by making special tagged links for you to copy to forums. Just upload to their site and copy-paste "Thumbnail for forums (1)." In case anyone has trouble with the link you gave, I'm going to post a thumbnail link of your picture.
