So, there are a lot of personal choice threads up these days, so I'll chip in my variation. Which sensei, (dead or alive) would be your best fit as a teacher? Mine would be Asuma, because I box and I would love to try his style with the hand knives. Also, he seems like a well-rounded and laid-back kinda guy. He probably wouldn't be a drill master instructor. Jiraiya would be pretty awesome to, simply because of Rasengan.

I agree. Chidori seems easy to dodge. If you can simply get out of Sasuke's way, he'll just go flying passed you at high speed.

Well i dont think Sasuke will be doing any Chidoris any time soon because of his big bro.

And i think Hitting, pushing, and spinning ure enemies at high speed is a lot more fun.

Since you put Kimimaro in the group with Orochimaru i guess i can said this. You better add a new member to Orochimaru's group.

all of Orochimaru's pupils were treated like test subjects.

jairaya only turned out one outstanding and legendary pupil (the 4th hokage.)

the fourth has only turned out one outstanding and legendary pupil (kakashi.)

everybody else hasn't turned out ANYONE great yet.

all of the 3rd hokage's pupils became legendary and at hokage level.

Kakashi isn't legendary, and almost all the pupils i mentioned are very good ninjas. You realize, that Jounins is an incredible class to reach as a ninja. Most level out at chuunins. In fact, the jounin are so select, the selection procedure isn't even a formal test. I surmise that jounins are simply handpicked my the current kage.

Ack! why did i vote for jiraiya? i was suppose to vote for sarutobi!! dumb me!!. anyway, i would go for sarutobi. as hobogod said, he's the only trainer who made all of his students legendary. also i have a chance to learn every jutsu in the leaf village from him.

well, he is pretty goddamn famous if zabuza, missing nin of the hidden mist, reconized him as copy ninja kakashi, ninja of 1000 jutsus. he later told naruto that he wouldn't reconise him until he was in the bingo book. so assuming that, kakashi is probably in the bingo book.

they are good ninjas, but they aren't legendary ninjas.

If we put the rasengan on Sasuke and still let him charge at full speed at Itachi, the result...

Sarutobi for sure, then I can be legendary, plus I can have Tsunade-style boobs. I'm not going to be as stupid and boring as the sannin though, I'm just going to use my skills to extort money from rich people so I can live large and comfy. How's that for a grand ambition?

I chose Gai, mostly because of his personality. He just seems like someone you could look up to and someone whos nice to be around.

Kurenai. She could teach me some genjutsu, that would be awesome. Plus she somehow seems a good teacher or something :P I've always liked her team too, don't know exactly why... If I had to be in one of the teams, I would be in that team.

my choice was Jiraiya, he could teach me moves such as Rasengan, how to summon frogs, his awesome peeping jutsu and i think hes a better teacher than most of the others

Spoiler: I think Kabuto was probably the death of Kimmaro for fear that Orochimaru would have such a strong body he exposed him to an ailment that would mean his death. Not that dying in service of sensei is shameful, if I die while in the service of my lord I would not be alone, I would live on as part of Orochisamas ambition forever. If I'm lucky I may even have the honor of being a container for sensei, but I'm sure I'd be of too much use to him as his right hand after I kill Kabuto. Should he decide to use me in an experiment to further his goals then so be it, whatever is necessary to accomplish his dream. After he is like a god, he said he will raise me from deaths embrace with new life and share the wonders of the world with me. All the others will grow old and die. How unsightly, so I suggest you all convert now..or fall forever. Come share senseis ambition so that we may stand hand in hand at the end of all things. Okay it's a bit early
