So, uh, I was taking a look at the new 'favourite character pairings' poll, and uh...
Spoiler for Ep4 spoilers most likely:

I think it's been noticed already and the answer at that time was: in that poll everyone can insert the name and character he wants, so it's not like all the character listed are actually in the game. It's not just Shion, there are a few others.

Well, yeah, but usually they just put the name down with no picture to go alongside it. It's the fact that she has an updated sprite to go alongside it that has me curious.

And here I was waiting for ep 5 info. .
I hope Battler would become more active to try to find the culprit, like searching for evidence/etc

That's definitely good news...ep4's ending was not satisfying enough.

I hope Ryukishi07 can shine more light on ep3, the watanagashi-hen of Umineko, at ep5.

Don't you mean Episode 7? Episode 5 would be the answer arc for ep1.

Why so? given that ep.5 of Higurashi was the answer for ep.2, while ep.8 was the answer for ep.1, I don't think it'd be wise to expect R07 to do thing one way or the other

ep.5 on Higurashi was kinda different from the others, it was an exact repetition of ep2 seen from another point of view.

Do you think we'll see something similar in umineko? Each episode a new game or the answer ark will go back to previous games?

Well you never know. I honestly want an answer for EP 1 a little more than EP 2, especially with the Eva-Hideyoshi closed room.

Well ep1 is nice...an episode without any sort of fantasy elements in the main story. It would be nice to see how the killings were carried out, since some of my theories still havn't been shot down

But I want more light shine on that world of irregularties...and to see if
Spoiler for ep3 speculation:

I just had a very very silly idea after rereading the first episode XD.
I do not know if this tradition does exist abroad but it was very commun at diner time to cut the animal you're gonna eat in a precise way so that each person of the family gets the part their status gives them ( like father head, mother.....do not know the english word but I think it is chest , and so on).

Could it be that the epitaph is actually a way to cook battler's familly? XD

Yeah the problem is Kinzo wrote the epitaph (see the last sentence), and he is the head. I doubt he wants himself to die ^^;
