Koi Hime†Musou

There isn't a thread on this anime yet? Strange...

Airing in July (soon)~

Not really sure what this is about, but it looks interesting, so I'm probably going to watch it... All I know is that there is something about a time-slipped protagonist and lots of girls.

As I posted elsewhere, some scans floating that around caught my interest.

Artwork looks good, characters look good.

Spoiler for some pics (BIG):

Yeah I actually have copy of this game. Hopefully the anime is more fun to watch then the game was to play. This is actually one of two anime this summer to be based in Romance of The Three Kingdoms and incidentally also feature lots of girls in place of the original lords, generals and strategists.

I'm not one to reject any retelling of the Romance of the three Kingdoms, even -- or especially -- an all-moe one. But the staff and cast for this show make me wonder. Director Nakanishi Nobuaki did Kasimasi and Sumomo mo Momo mo, both of which were watchable. Writer Go Zappa, however, was responsible for Myself;Yourself, which I consider one of the biggest train wrecks of the last couple of years. He also did the undistinguished Chokotto Sister.

The seiyuu cast consists of names that have been around a while but are not well-known. I checked the seiyuu pseudonyms site, and the show appears to be following ef~a tale of memories~ in using a cast of experienced game seiyuus who haven't had many anime roles. Let's hope it works out as well here as it did there.

I'm not sure if the anime version will offer that much of girls in it...but i do hope that the amount of girls will not be the one and only reason for me to watch this anime.I hope it will offer some good storyline too...

I wonder if the VA of the "thief" will reprise his role. >>; Oh well, we'll see I guess. And if there's any indication, we'll probably end up with a full harem ending...

Because both series were made of girls and less guys.

Expect some good views when the girls are doing some acrobatic action with their skirts on. *fap*

I'm... sorta looking forward to seeing everyone's expressions when Diao Chan is introduced.

Yes. Diao Chan. Those who have seen... "her", in the game know what I'm talking about.

Character Profile's

It's good to hear that Koihime Musou will be getting an anime and manga.

I first heard about the game when I came across the game intro. (here)

First thing I thought is why isn't this an anime?! gah!

I'll definitely be watching it.

Aaaaand that's one down. I knew that was enjoyable.

I guess it'll be a bit easy to handle the storylines, since the three paths in the game are almost similar to each other.
Then again, they can do just that and finish it with the Harem ending (which is pretty good by itself too).

I'm still looking forward to it. My "guilty pleasure" anime of the season.

Yea...I've seen plenty of these types of "woman", but their initial effect still remains fresh...

*Takes another peek*

*Shivers*
