I've not been thrilled so far with any of the translations... a little less speed and a little more attention to detail would be nice. As for font, subtitle design, karaoke-sfx.... YMMV, download a particular episode from each group and see what irks you the least.

LOL! The part where Ritsu pictures about Mio's place...

Spoiler for about what Ritsu told about Mio's room:

It's almost epic on the classics... XD

You're probably trying to download that CG's torrent that appeared a few days ago on mininova and a few other sites. The torrent that came out last friday still has hundreds of seeders.

Does anyone know how many episodes are being planned for this anime.
Checking the source material, they already used about half by episode 8.

Can't help you there, Tri-ring. I personally think it's 13, but judging by how much non-manga material they've thrown in so far (a lot) in order to flesh out the eps, it really depends on how hard the team wants to crack their heads over new material.

I would normally agree but this anime is aired on a major network(TBS) which usually goes for 2 cours(1 season) for a set that is why I asked.

It would be awesome that for the season finale, the band gets to perform "Don't Say Lazy" 'live'.

How'll that work, they are already in the 2nd grade of high school and in Japan you only have 3 years as is my understanding.

Do they have enough material? With what I've been able to find I can see then doing 18 episodes...unless the writer has the rest of the story ongoing just not yet in a formal volume 3 yet, then they might be able to complete all three years.

There are 7 Blu-Ray disc releases, but they have 2 episodes each. There'll be 14 episodes in all, with good chances that the 14th will be DVD-exclusive and won't air on TV.

2 entire episodes per disk?

Shit must be rendered in some damn good quality if only two episodes take up an enture Blu-Ray disk...

Somehow I recall the Japanese use to do that with DVDs as well. Putting only two episodes on a disc I mean. They started to get away from that, but I guess it is coming back for Blu-ray.
