Er, pretty sure they fixed it to "native English speakers" as in "people who speak English as a first language". Because if there's "native Americans", then surely, there's "native Canadians". Like Kate from Sketchbook ~full color's~, who had pretty win English.

But hey, Engrish is pretty moe! Like hearing Tamura Yukari trying to sound tsundere in English.

Anyway, just look at those nip-

So, for anyone that cares, did a slightly better quality thing of that StS Megami special thing and I think I gave proper credits this time kinda sorta maybe.

But isn't Native Americans just another way of saying Indians? That's what I recall from my Social Studies class.

"Native Americans" is a more respectful term than "Indians", so yeah, they're the same thing. One just sounds more polite.

Yeah I could've worded that better. I meant Americans who'd been born in the country with English as their first language.

EDIT: See? I'm sure Raising Heart and Bardiche wouldn't make this mistake.

Indians are people from India. The only reason we call Native Americans "Indians" is because of Christopher Columbus being an idiot and thought he landed in India.

Yeah, I know. Really, do they even look anything like people from India? I haven't exactly gone through anything that would reveal that fact to me yet.

Oh... Yeah... Huh... The "N" wasn't capitalized. Perhaps I should have thought about that a bit more.

I like how off-topic this discussion has gotten.

Tell that to ye olde British. RANDOM CAPITALIZATION EVERYWHERE. But yeah the subtle nuances of language are very important. Technically a native American would be say, me. Someone who is from America.

and fyi Columbus was trying to go to the Indies (which includes but is not only, India) thus the term Indians and also Native Americans while considered a more "respectful term" isn't used by said Native Americans (at least as far as I can tell )

NOW that the history lesson is done....

Here's a smexy zaffy repost to get us back on topic

I keep trying to imagine what it must be like for an Australian woman with perfect English pronunciation to read these dumb lines with their stupid grammar. And what about that time Raising Heart said "Condition Gleen"?

Donna Burke: Condition Green!
Voice Director: そこ、「gleen」ですよ。
Donna Burke: Seriously?
Voice Director: マジです。
Donna Burke: Fine, have it your way.
Voice Director: お願いします。
Donna Burke: Condition Gleen!

I think I'd have liked to be a fly on that wall.
