Until now the rotating banners were ok. But now one banner who was ok by now (and was ok in the past) changed. The gradient doesn't mach up with the forum gradient. Which is strange, since as I said it was ok so far. I didn't notice this for any other banner so far.

Anyway here is the pic, so you can see it yourself...

Is it me? Or something to do with the forum/site?

I think it's because the image was exported with a color profile. Back in the past, there weren't very many web browsers that supported embedded profiles, but now it's more widely-supported. Unfortunately there isn't really an elegant way to fix it without the original source PSD file - I could take the JPG and color-correct it, but re-exporting a JPG as a JPG isn't really a good practice. I'm not sure that the original artist will still have the PSD lying around.

Hi, I haven't been active on AS for a while but luckily PreSage let me know about this thread! That was my banner and I somehow still have the original PSD (link). I don't know much about how to correct the issue so feel free to use the file.

Thanks for posting; it's now fixed.

(It may be cached in people's browsers, so they may have to wait until next time the cache clears to get the new file.)
