The new year is here and so is the International Saimoe League. Nominations will start January 1, 2014 and will last for one week. There will be some small changes to ISML this year that will updated in this post in the near future. The nomination form will soon be up, so please nominate and post them here.

Which Nova characters will you nominate in 2014?
Which Stella characters will you nominate in 2014?
Which new characters do you expect to win necklaces and possibly the tiara?
Which characters from the 2013 seasonal tournament will rise/fall in strength?

Absolutely no campaign posts allowed.
This includes posts containing ANY campaign verbiage whether in whole or in part. Contributing to the debate is encouraged, provided you do NOT add "VOTE ABCD!!!" (or similar to the post itself). Simply rebutting another's post or opinion with "XYZ sucks" is totally unacceptable.
Please do not create a post with the sole purpose to campaign for a character!
No Image campaigning.
Do not create a post with an image or collage representation of a campaign poster. In other words: a PhotoShopped image of the character you want people to vote for with “vote for” text added to it.

Stella was quite easy for me. Ayu, Kurisu, Mashiro, Nanoha and Erio are all high on my list. The last spot was a tie between Ami and Mai (both have bluish hair and both their names have the same 3 letters...

), but I went with Ami in the end.

Nova was a bit harder for me. I had already made a top 10 Nova girls list for 2014. Rin, Eru, Kyōko and Kotori were all on that list, but they're already qualified. So I had no trouble filling up 6 spots with the remaining girls of my list: Tohka, Yukino, Masuzu, Yuiko, Azusa, Kōko. I decided to give Emi and Misaki my final spots. But it was a hard battle between those two and Yukina (Strike the Blood) and Fino (Yusibu).

Since Mashiro is now a Stella contender, I am personally looking forward to how well she does with the Tier 1 girls. If she turns out to be Tier 1 material herself, then more power to her. In terms of Nova, I think the most prominent girl to look out for is Tokisaki Kurumi of Date a Live, given how well she did in the seasonal tournament. I need some time to come up with a Nova List.

I decided that since I didn't care for most of the new series this year, and TWGOK just had a strong season I might as well go for broke with them. At the last minute I switched Lafiel Abriel from Crest of the Stars out for Emilia, since Emilia appeared this season, but next year I'll be back to supporting Lafiel again.

Minami-ke had a good season, so maybe the two Minami sisters will be in ISML together.

I had to vote for a Misaka Imouto since they just went through the Sister's arc. I'd probably prefer 9986, but anyone who does vote for a Misaka Imouto is probably going to pick 10032 so I decided to go along with the crowd.

Maybe we can end up with Misaka 10032, Last Order, and the original all in ISML together. Then once Misaka Worst appears in the anime.... MWAHAHAHA!

Almost certainly not. Everything is checked manually and the staff have so far dealt with things far, far worse than a single letter typo. Though not making mistakes makes things easier for everyone involved, of course.

Same as above, a one letter typo shouldn't affect the nomination of a specific character. Although...

"The following characters are auto-qualified for the Preliminary Period and are not selectable:"

There was an additional list of characters hidden on the nomination page. Charlotte Dunois from IS was one of the characters that auto qualified for the Stella prelims. Other than that, I don't see any other issues.

Was way too hard as usual for this part, but for Nova I decided to go for newer girls with exception of Kyouko since 3rd movie had some influence on that

, and multiple series besides Kiniro Mosaic x.x (thank god Noire made it in without it) as otherwise becomes near impossible for me to decide anymore

My main supports will be Tokisaki Kurumi and Watashi. While Kurumi might be a strong candidate for the Tiara, Watashi will most likely fail again to even make it to the main tournament.
