They seem to have changed the physical features of the covenant (or should we call them pirates now?). The location of the Elite's eyes and even the Jackals, weird. At least Cortana keeps getting sexier with every game.

Cortana gets hotter every game indeed. About the Covenant. They are the Storm Covenant: they still believe in the great journey and still wants to destroy humanity (the Elites), most Jackals are mercs/pirates (they look like raptors now but they look badass), the Grunts... well they are slaves/cowards that cant stand up for them selfs and fight with the elites and Hunters

On the plus side, now we have grunt Astronauts!

Female Spartan IV apparently.

Judging by the size of the weapon, I'm guessing that SIV's are only gonna be about average size.

Thats not surprising really the selection/development process probably wouldn't have been the same long the Two's.

I wonder how important the fours will be within the story or weather they will just be slightly more durable yet ultimately disposable fodder like the marines.

I'm REALLY not sure I like the look of the new UNSC conventional infantry armor.

The gloves, and even the helmet look okay. But I'm just not sure why they replaced the carapace chest pieces they used to have with what looks to be a soft insert vest.

I AM however really amused at how much that spartan on the hog turret looks like an Evangelion!

Looks like we are going to have Two sets of Mark 6 helmets, the one that John uses in Halo 4 and the other known as Mark 6 classic. From what I have seen and heard the only armor set that my not be in Halo 4 are the ODST's, the Mark 4, and 5 set's.

The Spartan IIs (and some of the Spartan IIIs) grew pretty massive due to their augmentations and the fact that they were still technically teenagers at the time they underwent the augmentations. The Spartan IVs, who have already reached adulthood, wouldn't really grow to any noticeable degree because they've already done all the growing their life would allow.

Well I know that, but didn't expect the differences to be so noticeable. Looks like there will be plenty of new Spartans in the game, question is are they going to be useful? Meaning is their damage output the same as Marines?

Nicely done, I got to feel for the kid. Soldiers are not machines, got to believe of what they are doing or else they are not human. It is very funny since insurrections are happening, the only thing that stopped it once was the covenant.
