This was a great alternative to the main story. Gave it a rating of 9.

Compared to the other Alternate World episode, Tomoyo's Arc, this one felt more lively and original (not that I'm bashing the other one, that one was great too). Rather than accepting the whole dating thing and later love as a matter of course, here there is a bit of drama and falling-in-love. I've always felt sorry that Kyou didn't get more time in the main storyline, she's very easy to like.

Like Youhei suggested, Tomoya's one lucky bastard, living the dream of every guy. Two beautiful twins, both desperately in love with him. Aaaah.

I'd find it a living hell. If you know you're only one guy, and you know that you can't share yourself, that that'd just be worse for all 3 of you, it'd totally wreck my state of mind.

What? Having 2 girls...that happen to have the same genes...that also happen to be in love with you... I'd be thinking of like, identical half brothers, or sisters. Unless Tomoya somehow makes one different XD

I guess the episode looks much better to VN players because they at least know everything and just happy to see it animated even with the lack of some important moments.

Also Fuji twins arc was somehow a bit invloved into 1 season with all this game center fortune telling, obentos on grass and the same was with Tomoyo's arc. As some1 previously mentioned that twins arc and Tomoyo's arc are more romantic in contrast to Fuko's and etc. it's perfectly right.

I liked how whole Clannad was handled but in 1st season the Nagisa romance mood and other arc moods is always being broken by mutual interuptions of those arcs. But even if Tomoyo's arc was like a more separate piece, the twins' arc was just randomly pushed in 1st season and maybe that's why this episode seems and all Kyou-Tomoya-Ryou relatioship seem a bit disjointed.

But you need to sacrifice some good parts of other arc to make Nagisa's arc though to satisfy all the watchers by having their fav characters more screen time.

Edit: it seems I haven't given this episode my rating, so I give 8/10.

Not enough time to fit the entire arc from the game in. Felt way too rushed and you couldn't connect. Sadface. :[

I remember skipping through most of the arc where Tomoya's agonsizing, and I know there was quite a bit of bg change, so to fit that amount of crap into a 30 min OVA is pretty hard.

As has been mentioned, unfortunately, way too much to fit into one short episode. A double-length episode may have been able to capture the brilliance of Kyou's arc, but unfortunately, we only got the skeleton of it. Having said all that, at least I'm glad they made the OVA, would've been so sad if Kyou had been shafted forever.
