Funny, birdy decode was far the best A-1 animated work so far.

and got crazy ass staff to prove it

A-1 don't have key or staff. it pretty weird studio, most of the staff are freelance animator

people say that because it had Atsushi Nishigori ( Gainax animator ).

I know we've already had the trailer with the op preview about midway through, but Sony's site also seems to have a snippet of Crossing Field. It's a tad shorter than what was played in the SAO trailer.

Note that I moved some posts to create a thread for the Sword Art Online PSP Game. Further discussion of the game can go there.

I'm sorry if this has already been asked but is there any indication of which novels the anime will follow?

By the images I've seen so far I imagine they'll be padding out the first two novels (only read the first three so far).

The general belief is that they'll be keeping to volume 1 & 2 along with some of the other side stories for this season. Seeing them venture into volume 3+ would be a surprise.

Hmm I heard it was getting a full season (24 eps) but it's actually a half season then?

No, that's just me getting my terminology mixed up. Cour, not season. My mistake.

24 Episodes to volume 1 & 2 would be a stretch alone.

Not sure about that actually. That 24 came from a glance while on the Wikipedia page that was at the time conveniently on screen. As for officially-backed news, all they've said so far is 2 cour.

I see.So then each season can be 13 episode's long instead of 12.

I have no idea, but it seems to be just an interview from a person about his opinion on SAO. (Or I may be totally off).

anyway, CM4 is out. Nothing new except for the wolf scene and a girl.
