I read part of the manga before I saw the first episode. I'm probably going to wait a few episodes before I make a judgement, however I think it will take a while before it takes off. I was hoping for a soundtrack similar to the maximum tune games, but I'm somewhat disappointed with it, but it might just grow on me. Still keep in mind that we're dealing with highway racing instead of drifting, so the races will seem different.

Ok well how long will it take for them to make their own CD with "englishish" songs like inital D? I can't wait for the music to come out as one of the things of this anime that seems promising is the music it offers.

Hey whatsup. I signed up just to talk about wangan midnight. To all of you that says it starts slow its because the manga starts slow. You have to understand how much he really loves his Z. I dunno i love this show as i own an S30 and it just motivates me to get my car up to his level. Anyway if this show follows the manga it will be awsome.

Hahaha no interest in anything other than the Z really. As it should be. He gets a love interest later on in the manga. Gotta have priorities

. Anyone who doesnt believe in the power of the S30 Z's is unimportant.

So lucky, to live in Canada... The U.S. won't let foreign autos to be imported until the vehicle is 25 years old. So I can get an R32 in... 2014... >.>

To be on topic, as one of my associates told me, maybe I'm being to harsh based on a single episode. I'll definitely be watching more, especially the PPV version of ep1 (the quality of the available raw bothered me).

There is a couple of r32's down here. Good luck getting an r34, not worth the money IMO, With the 40 grand you spend on an r34 i can make my Z sicker than the one in wangan midnight.
