All the serious emotional drama that was missing came out to play, plus
we got a good dose of old-fashion ninja-speech this time.

Yuuna is 100% cuter when she is hisshi. I really liked it when she was
trying to confess, it sortof makes up for all the times when she was being
a ditz. despite outward appearances, she is a serious person.

I didnt like mamoru's finishing move, it could have been something less goofy.
(seemed like an attack from cutie-honey to me)

i would have preferred not to have a reset, but having the mechanic be a banana
peel is just about a perfect way to end the show.

I hate resets >_< especially memory erasing stuff really pisses me off.
But ignoring that last part, I really enjoyed these last two eps. A simple happy ending for a simple show - and the main guy even decided on a girl.

I don't regret watching this show even though it was nothing special

I feel kinda cheated, a reset up to the point of before the confession.
But you gotta give credit to the other ninja clan, they are pretty strong and the thing is pretty well planed out. I do however wished to see kagemori parents kicking some ass at the onsen rather than seeing the elder letting off some gas and defeating the invaders...
Other than that, a pretty nice show, even if there was no ending. It's not like the show was actually about anything in the first place.

Something I've thought up.
Yunna loves babanas.
Yunna composes babana song.
Yunna has babana song ringtone on her handphone.
Logically
Yunna programed her phone with babana ringtone.
Conclusion
Yunna is pretty good with music and at least has ability to 'make' electronic music?

So she's good for something other than babanas and sniffing out bad guys.

Well, I'm not sure what it has to do with my sig, but Yuna reminds me a lot of my wife (except for the pink hair). Though usually I'm the one who makes up songs.

No, I was making an interesting observation about her. What'll be more fun (my new cell phone arrives tomorrow) is when I program the ringtone in (I think I saw someone had a link for one to download) and she asks what it is.

It's special because it was nothing special we knew Kage kara mamoru is a prank-ninja show right from the start and followed along.I still remember the first episode of the show, I went wtf when I saw mamoru and strangely at the end of the episode I'm so ready for the next one. May be too much drama series in this season made us addicted to this prank show, after a few weeks blogs are starting to document about this series.Compare to some prank show like Papillion Rose, Kage Kara Mamoru really standed out.We got harem, ninjas ,robots,ufo,alien and bananas from the show ^_^|| more than enough, isn't it?

and needless to say, OOM really did a good job on this anime

Even though Mamoru loves Yuna, that doesn't mean he is going to marry her. The 'Heart' gives him power but still he has to protect Yuna from the Shadows. And once she is married, he has to protect her husband and his wife (Gotta be Hotaru) will take over the Yuna protection.

^yep its over and they pretty much wrapped it up the show ended where it started. I guess its a fitting ending though I really woulda liked it to end on the stairs as opposed to where it ended

Perhaps it was used before in previous eps but i just noticed it just now...is it just me or did anyone else close to 4 minutes in episode 11 where they say "Big news!", you can hear the tune which can also be heard in episode 1 of Suzumiya Haruhi when Mikuru does a pose and the camera does the cheesy zoom in and out thing?Is this a common tune or something?

Man I love this series. 12 episodes is just scratching the surface of the insanity so I'm very disappointed that this is all we get.

I don't mind the reset, the story is over once Mamoru actually decides on his feelings. Besides, just because he loves Yuna doesn't mean they'll be allowed to be more than neighbors. What happens to the tradition if the two clans mix?

And anyway, true form Mamoru has much more chemistry with Tsubaki than Yuna.

I would have liked to see the story progress beyond the simple Harem concept, but I don't know if it was ever intended to be more than a quick one-off. Anyone know how many volumes there are of the Manga?

It's based on a novel not a manga. I believe the last time I checked there were seven or eight novels out.

I wouldn't mind seeing the story continue, silly as it is.

And yes, it was silly there was a memory reset part of the plot but thems the breaks.
