That was pretty damn good. I really like the way they're handling all of the Kishin stuff.

I had expected them to censor the ep some more, but glad they didn't.

Next week should be even more awesome. However, I think they gave a bit too much away in the preview...

The blood effect with Medusa was very captivating. Interesting take on the gore with the arrows. ANyways Stein was awesome in this episode and it was cool how both fight going on complimented each other and eventually effected the outcome. 9/10

This really makes the battles stand out. First Stein plans everything out. Then the outcome of the other battle is decisive for Stein's fight. You can't really talk about all the duels separately. That's really good writing which avoids the feeling of everyone picking up an opponent and dishing it out one on one despite that being more or less what happened. Also points for Elka for never seriously concentrating on close-range combat when that's not her forte anyway and not worth jeopardizing the plan.

I just finished watching the subs. FREAKIN awesome episode... The stein/medusa fight was shorter then I expected but it was pretty good. The blood effect was a nice effect as well.

Can't wait for next episode.

FlareKnight User of the "Fast Draw" Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Canada	Spoiler: Damn this was an incredible episode!! The struggle to try and stop the kishin resurrection was intense. Kid firing with everything he had to keep Free busy and Black Star pushing himself to the limit with the Fey Blade Mode to try and stop it. Sad that the last dash made him fall for the hallucination and miss the Black Blood. Now its really bad since he's completely at his limit and Kid's shots seem to ahve no effect. Maybe a death cannon could annoy the guy but someone of that level is beyond anyone in that room. The fight with Stein and Medusa was bloody and crazy. I really didn't imagine it would end up this messy. With a big hole in Stein's gut and blood pouring out. Not to mention chopping Medusa in half and the freaking rain of blood . The soul sewing at the highest level was amazing and somehow they ended up winning. Guess Medusa lowering her guard after knowing the Kishin would resurrect gave them a small advantage. Huge episode that's for sure. Spoiler for Preview: Yeah maybe they showed a bit much in this one . Though when you think about it Shinigami vs Asura has to happen now. He's the only one remotely capable of stopping that guy. Guess that means the clock is just about up. Can't be good with Black Star leaving Tsubaki on the ground and charging in on his own. Sure she's relatively safe in weapon mode, but still a bit risky. __________________ Anime-Evo

Spoiler for ep 23: The whole damn episode was animated beautifully, especially in Asura's awakening. They made that scene so amazingly creepy and disturbing. Gave me goossebumps and made me sweat a bit (from the awesomeness). I loved Black*Star's charge at catching Eruka and the Black Blood, it was quite a rush. Death the Kid wasn't half-bad either. Spoiler for Episode 23: I'm gonna need the subs for some of the conversation between Medusa and Stein, but holy hell that whole episode was one complete piece of beautiful animation from start until finish. I know i've been saying that about nearly every episode so far, though when one like this is so full of action you really start to notice it a lot more. I'll talk a lot more about the episode once i've seen the subs. Spoiler for Episode 24 preview: Oh my sweet jesus Shinigami in action. FlareKnight User of the "Fast Draw" Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Canada	Spoiler: It is a nice thing to have fights influencing each other. Even Maka vs Chrona had it to a degree. Certainly the black blood circulating sparked things in the Stein vs Medusa fight. At the very least got Stein and Spirit riled up considering Medusa's treatment of her child. But no doubt in this one it was stronger. After all without the failure to stop Eruka and Free, Stein likely wouldn't have survived. Wonder if it was necessary to go with the Fey Blade Mode. If he's not making use of the shadow ability wouldn't it be easier to go after Eruka another way? __________________ Anime-Evo
