Mr sei rox lol, his powers can travel so far But zelman is the coolest one... see what he did with just his eyes. Somehow silver blade doesnt lives up to his name

at Mr Sei's power. He was black blood too? Anyway, makes me wonder, if he has that kind of power, why he didnt act earlier? Why only after so many victims?

^Kotarou was using his powers to speak his (?) mind through her. You can see the surprise on Mimiko's face as she realizes what she just said, as well as a content, knowing smile from Kotarou. For whatever reason Jirou didn't catch it.

It showed that the barrier had to be let down for him to use his power in that way. I assume that he uses all of his power to keep the Kowloon Children out of the special zone. Only in a situation as desperate as this would he let it down to go fight.

I really hope they don't squeeze too much information and happenings into the last episode. They usually do with animes that are short, like Innocent Venus for example. Let's just hope it will be a good ending for this serie ^__^

That would explain why he fared pretty badly against Cassa. I suppose he made a name for himself while battling it out in Hong Kong where the Kowloon Children first came about.

To me it seems that they are going with the Vampire: The Masquerade power structure. So a vampire's power is dictated by his bloodline and his generation.

well i would think that he is actually the son of alice with a part of her soul inside him...tbh the way jirou beats up kotarou (in the earlier eps) is certinally one thing that he wouldnt do if he knows that hes hurting the one he loves most

also its natural for cassa to hate kotarou in that sense as she doesnt seem to like alice in the first place for being with jirou...

There's no evidence that generation matters too much. Bloodline and age, I'd say.

Anyway, I think we should all remember Zelman's little talk to Kotarou about "listening to your blood." Also the bloodlines are always referred as descended from some famous originator. In a way, it's kind of like the blood itself is the vampire, living symbiotically inside humans. The bloodline itself is an organism; it's the originator living on inside others. Sort of. Just a theory. Well, an extension of this is that bloodline siblings are closer than family. Like ants.

Anyway, Jirou's obviously the young one here. I'd imagine Old Blood means something like "older than humans normally live" but that's not saying much in terms of potentially immortal vampires. When he said he was around 100 years old near the beginning, I was thinking, "What? He's that young?" Cassa, Sei, Zelman, and maybe Cain and Walkerman all seem significantly older than Jirou. As has been said, Jirou made a name for himself in the war as a young prodigy, but no one really expects him to match up to the real Old Bloods.

Their voices are so darn similar, especially during Jirou's flashback to when he meets Alice and Cassandra. Plus the way Cassa reacts when she sees him on the shoreline... Spoiler for ...the Episode 12 finale: Yeouch! No story on what really happened 10 years ago?! What was that, seriously? It looks so much like they're setting it up for a second season. Argh. Any news on that, anyone? Cassa probably doesn't die, and everything stays pretty much the same, except for some character development and some information being shared with Mimiko. I'm not a big fan of this series and all, but this ending... makes me want to watch the whole thing again just to put together the pieces and give myself some closure. But hurray for those of you who called the reincarnation device correctly! Very clever.

Deathkillz ~ You're dead ^__^* ~ Graphic Designer Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: uk, England Age: 34	finally its the final...its been a good smooth non-boring ride so here goes the conclusion at last! ^_^ Spoiler: well another flash back to alice and jirou in the start...nothing special... on with the fight underwater... jirou gets stabbed again and again but he finally manages to kick the bastard away...mimiko then offers him...her blood dramatic effect the taking of the blood was actually quite orgasmic for mimiko imo mimiko also goies into jirou's thoughts and sees the lonely road he has travelled... with one swing jirou literally but rapes the guy finially living up to his name...silver blade... well as expected jirou explains that kotarou is indeed the reincarnation of alice... with the help of sei jirou catches up to cassa and intends to end things once and for all... zelman completely owns without even trying...just how dam strong is he? O.o in a "fck me" fight between cassa and jirou it seems to be double kill as the ship hits the force field generator post...jirou is the found on top of the post and faints...while its raining! how evil can you get? >.< cassa seems to be alive still O.o all well that ends well...it was planned for jirou to fight and eventually stay as a keeper of the king of kowloon which he had defeated a long time ago... well they all get and new place to stay...the 3 of them and we see jirou falling over in the sun steaming like urm...steam well one thing i dont understand is what will happen to jirou whe he gives back his blood to kotarou/alice...would he die? or just become human again? but odds are that he will die as its a new guardian everytime methinks... well its a fullfilling ending and i love it perfectly done and im nto left with an urge to kill the writerwhich is always a good sign ^_^ yep an ova would be nice to tie any loose ends left... ahh well there goes another good series ^_^ all things have to come to an end and its been fun and pleasent __________________ Siggy: hohohohoho~ \| AnimeHistory welcome to our blog ~ \| Summer2009 early review Under the radar series Summer2009: Kanamemo, GA Geijutsuka Art, NEEDLESS
