I am just a bit disappointed this is streaming on Daisuki and not CR. But I guess any streaming is better than no streaming.

That would be nice. I'm not so interested in the series that I couldn't wait a bit for it to show up on CR. But it would be nice to know that this will happen for sure. Ah well. C'est la vie.

So this is an agricultural/vet anime.
This is definitely something new. Never seen an anime like this before. The main character is a total good-for-nothing moron. Aki was rather nice, though. At least this one offers a few laughs ^^" I might actually watch this, it's certainly weird and fun enough.

That was pretty much everything I was hoping it would be, from what I've read of the manga.
(I didn't read too much as I didn't want to spoil myself). I think there's also a whole point here about people being separated from the source of their food and not being aware where it comes from. Hachiken's ignorance of where eggs come from, for example. (Seriously, how does someone that age NOT know what part of a chicken the eggs come from?) Free Range eggs are better though, for the consumer and the chickens. Calves can be very cute. And also delicious. I guess this is not the anime to watch if you're a vegetarian! |

You know, I have to admit, the description and idea of Gin no Saji made the anime sound pretty boring, but the first episode was actually pretty good I laughed quite a few times too and I surprisingly liked all the characters.
Looking forward to the second episode
