Anyone else upset at how Tomoyasu Kurashima, the original Character Designer for this show (and the illustrator for many piece of official IS art), isn't going to be the Character Designer for Infinite Stratos 2? He did an exemplary job, so I can't understand why he was replaced for the sequel.

I'll have to see the second season in action before judging, but so far little to no actual difference as far as art is concerned.

Similar, yes. But not the same. I think it's a safe bet that we won't see any more of his IS art, unless he puts out his own IS doujinshi (which would be interesting to see). This is very strange since it's clear that Kurashima's art (such as the dakimakuras he designed for this series) must have sold quite well among the otaku. If the IS project was such a success, then why on Earth was he fired and replaced?
