I tried doing something new, but it didn't work out too well.

I also planned on putting on some text on the bottom, but I don't have a clue what.

Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix the wallpaper and what text to put in?

There's no yuri as such in Kanon ... Mai and Sayuri are quite close but there's no evidence for or against what form their relationship takes (despite wishful fan art and fiction). I'm not for or against such an idea - I just get tired of automatic "lez" assumptions anytime two girls are close to each other. Heck by that criteria 95% of the girls at my son's school are lesbians the way they hug, grope, dogpile, and ferret-nest with each other

What I find interesting is the way Mai and Sayuri let Yuuichi into their circle so gracefully, each expressing a close bond for Yuuichi. So, if you want to mind-gutter, daydream a Mai-Sayuri package of two for one

Agreed, which is why we opted for a translation of "care" in our version of eps 13 and 14. Besides, I think "yuri" is entirely too strong a term for anything beyond platonic emotions between Mai and Sayuri. The furthest I'd go is "shoujo ai" if there is, in fact, anything.

I actually kind of like it (mostly minor resolution issues at 1200x) and I'd leave it textless or just title it with her name in a dark blue Kanon-style script in the lower left. Already using it as my wallpaper.
