Hi I would like a thread to discuss subtitle accuracy in this series

There are a lot of groups that are subtitling this and in watching the same episode from different sources, I've seen some large differences in how things are translated. I'm wondering who is "right".

Maybe (probably) I'm too picky ...

AiA almost always gets the correct translation, anon is MOSTLY right but it's too literal and Nyoro~n tends to mix stuff up... unless anon's is out first.

I think you are too picky

Sorry but I'm not in favour of creating such a thread. Translation is too subjective to be right (or even "right") or wrong in such cases.

Indeed, it's high time for a character poll. Natural nominees would be Kamina, Nia, Simon, and Yoko. I'd also nominate Viral for a spot on the list (he'd probably get my vote).

I'm not sure how many other Dai-Gurren members might be on the list. Kittan, Leeron, and Rossiu seem to get slightly larger roles out of the bunch, so they might be a possibility.

Where is the general image thread? Didn't have we one here until three days ago? where it'd gone? If It wasn't one, please, create it xD One topic for images, fanarts and wallpapers for G-L, like the only Yoko's.

(My apologizes, my english is the worst ever xD).

EDIT: ups, sorry, there are a lot of general pics in the Yoko's topic. So, maybe it's not necessary.
