I love the characters of Beelzebub, but the plot's attempts to be dramatic continually fell short of my expectations. I paused my reading of Beelzebub around 30 chapters ago with the intention of resuming once I saw a sign that it was getting interesting again, and have been lightly spoiling myself checking sites like this thread periodically...

Despite having a love-hate relationship with Beelzebub overall, I think the author's really talented and I love his characters... it sounds like he wrapped up a lot of the character dynamic in this last chapter, but if the spin-off features a cast with potential (please let it be middle/high school Beel and the rest of the kids, please please please! my favorite characters!) I'll be all over it. And if he focuses on that potential, I'll keep it up with it even if I have a wait two months for each chapter.

The last arc was total garbage and it felt like the author throwing as many ideas as he could because the manga was about to end. Still I enjoyed the manga overall it was better as a gag manga than a battle manga but as Gintoki once said every gag manga turns into a battle manga at some point.

As for the final chapter, it was a typical non-ending ending which anime and manga are so fond off. I did like to see the aged characters though.

Also tissue arc was the best arc of the series.

Now that you've mentioned it, the manga should have gone full Gintama.... . But then again few can match the genius that is Gintama.

The final word of the manga is Furuchin. How fitting.

I enjoyed seeing the older version of the characters. All that facial hair was hilarious, it's a such a lame way to make a character seem older. Chiaki with longer hair looked gorgeous. Aoi with short hair looked alright, it didn't suit her much imo. The glasses made her look hot though.

She looked so much like Dekomori from Chuunibyou series, DESSSSSSS~! ... which I liked her current appearance so much hehe. And as for the series... it was a good ride and I always remember this series with its unique humor that it has from earlier chapters. I am not sure if I should be hyped up for spin-off but let's see if author going to learn from his mistakes and makes more stable series in the future so I am definately going to reading his series if he ever going to make another series other than Beelzebub.

Looks like you did't notice that panel that showed half of his face in the chapter before the last one. He conforts the leaders of the solomon company. Soo I think he was always there the whole time when Oga went there. Seeing how Beel's mother sense him at that time.

I quite liked this last chapter. Found it pretty funny. Furuchi entering was just too funny and seeing the other charaters again but older was nice. It is a bit weird that the whole of the school now knows about demons. Still sad to see it go though. The gags where funny. The fights even if they where more of less the same where still good. But that last arc was just lacking. All the new characters that where shown didn't really get a good back story to them. Them randomly getting get demons where also pointless. Fuji was just meh and Satan as well. Beel still being shown as a baby was also a let down. I'm also a bit bummed that Aiba never showed up again.

Though the new info that was shown in the chapter was interesting. The demon lord has a brother who is also random as he is. Both Taka (Who seems to always change his style) and Fuji went and talked with the demon lord. There was a meeting about the omens.
