Well, maybe just a little,... just because I've stopped updating, shouldn't mean I stopped completely.

My vector of Reinforce.
I vectored from this sketch and continued drawing everything..

..and.. unfinished wallpaper. (no excuse why it's unfinished. =_= )

More scan repair I did for a friend (Just like the Code Geass one):

Basically, I repaired this scan:

Here's a collaboration with Topzter(a friend of mine) He made the sketches and I did the vectoring. We made for another site. ^^

Also started a new hobby. (making a Flash Interface/Site/Anything related), so I'm not vectoring as much as I used to..

Look very nice. How did you do it? Can't see any hint of it created from that 1st scan except for, maybe, the white under Syaoran's hair. Was that intentional or you simply forgot to erase that part?

Yeah, it seems I forgot that part, sorry I was in a rush.
Well the process is called vectoring, basically color over it and redraw the missing parts with photoshop's pen tool.

Why the apology? Or is it habit? (no disrespect intended)

That sounds err... painful? I never get how people do those so well. Oh, and thanks for telling.

Anyway, those are great. Wish I can do the same in the future.

Looks like you have your preloader working correctly. Looks like you have your site in a container like form. You can get better quality from the mp3 by changing the properties of sound quality. Trust me this makes a huge difference. Simple roll over animations for your side navigation bar. Although I think your sound is off when you click on your logo to reload the page. It continues the song until the site loads at 100% again. I think that's a bit wierd. I've been tinkering with flash since mx2004. Now I have Flash CS3. Though I don't have time to even play with it, I wish I did. A little tip for you, flash works great with another adobe program... I can't think of the name right now but I do have it at home in my closet. I'll let you know when I pull it out. That program will save you lots of time when doing animations. Export directly to Flash. Clean job on your site.

Well, that can easily be fixed, just placed the music temporarily since I will be making sound control tab later when it's done.^^

I'm using Flash 8^^ Still haven't gotten to Flash CS3
Could it be Photoshop CS3? I have that, and there seems to timeline animation availability similar to that of Flash. Haven't tried it yet though...

Flash CS3 is it's own program. What you see in PS CS3 is actually for 3d animation. I'm actually glad to see another flash enthusiast here on the site. Have you seen my old school flash intro from my site? www.wingzero619.net It's actually a sig flash I did a while back using something older that flash 8 I believe. It's been a while. So question for you... when you made your preloader, are you using different scenes or is it all inclusive in one timeline using different layers?

I just recently got int a flash^^ Been hooked on it for a couple of months now.
Thats a really neat flash sig, and Gin-sama at that^^ (too bad we can't have them here.) .. How many fps where you going with that one?

Just checked your site, looks great. I lol'd at Lorem Ipsum, though, I was expecting some info.
-

For the preloader, well, I got it off some tutorial site, it uses this kind script:

Code:
onClipEvent (enterFrame) {
	loading = _parent.getBytesLoaded();
	total = _parent.getBytesTotal();
	if (percent == undefined) percent = 0;
	percent -= (percent-((loading/total)*100))*.25;
	per = int(percent);
	percentage = per+"%";
	loadBar._width = per;
	if (percent>99) {
		_parent.gotoAndPlay(2);
	}
}

Thanks, innominate.
It's from Hayate no Gotoku
It's the Karaoke of 'Kakurenbo', a song from Maria's song album^^
I'm still going to make some music control for the site later on, just as soon as I figure out how to reduce filesizes.

I've always been checking out your website for updates or new walls, and I really am impressed with your skills. My favorites among your works: the Aria and the Seto San wallpaper. Keep it up!

PS. A Hayate no Gotoku wallpaper would be nice... ^_^

Now I remember the name of the program. It's called After Effects. It's a kick ass program which will allow you to improve your Flash work. In other words, it's like super Flash. I have all the programs I need to create some nice work but don't have the time for it. Well here's the code for my intro which is actually all mathematically correct (I say you use my code for your preloader):

Code:
stop();

myInterval = setInterval(preload,100);

function preload() {
	var current = _root.getBytesLoaded();
	var total = _root.getBytesTotal();
	var pctLoaded = Math.round(current/total*100);
	pct_txt.text = pctLoaded;
	loaderBar_mc._xscale = pctLoaded;

	if (current >= total) {
		gotoAndPlay(1);
		clearInterval(myInterval);
	}
}
Now you probably saw the stop(); action and probably wondering what the hell is that doing in your preloader code. Well I don't know how you set your preloader up but all my layers reside under frame 1. What you see below is all the work for my flash intro on the site. Right now I'm simulating a download to make sure that the 56k'ers can view my site as well. You should always simulate the downloads with every flash movie you create. Not everyone has cable or DSL. What else can I tell you about this screen... oh yeah, it's in 32fps but I usually stick with 30. It's probably the smoothest frame rate which gives me a generous file size at the end. Oh yeah one more thing, I don't think you understood me when I told you about changing the sound properties of your mp3 file. You do it in Flash. I think it's File > Properties and in there you can set your settings. Set your jpg or any other images you use at 100% and you'll see some other goodies as well. Let me know if you need any help. I'm a bit rusty myself but I'm sure I can get back into the swing of things. Note that earlier I told you I create my preloaders in scenes... well this one is just one scene because it's super simple. Okay time for me to get ready for work.

Well, there are many different ways to make a preloader,.. though, yours can be really helpful, since it's a function.

Yeah, I have the stop(); code as well, I just posted the code for the preloader.
I was wondering though, is there anything in Flash CS 3 that makes it worth getting compared to Flash 8?
Also the motion blur effects on your flash, did you import from photoshop? I don't think flash 8 has motion blur effects....
